i got 550 mark in neet ug 2020 i am from rajasthan am i get any gov or private college in all over india i have obc quota

Arihant kapoor 14th Sep, 2020

Hello Dhanraj

NEET is the only exam in India through which students take admission on medical colleges. From 2020, AIIMS and JIPMER give admissions to students through NEET only. Now, you got 550 marks in NEET, so your percentile would be around 98.06 - 98.56 and your expected rank is 24150 - 28300. With this rank and percentile there are good chances that you get government or private colleges. To know which colleges you can get you can use Careers360 college predictor tool. It helps you in searching all the colleges (All India and state) on the basis of your rank.

You can check colleges at:

Hope this helps and all the best.

I am crossing 400 in neet UG 2020 can I get a esic medical college seat in ip quota in tamilnadu

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 14th Sep, 2020

Admission to ESIC Colleges happens through All India Quota, State Quota and IP Quota.

  • Through All India Quota, 15% of the total available seats will be filled up based on the reservation policy and procedures of the Central Government.
  • Based on the location the ESI Medical College is located in, the seats will be filled through State Government Quota as per the policy of the State. Admission to these seats is based on the reservation policy of the State.
  • The remaining seats after allocation of All India Quota and State Quota are treated as Insured Persons Quota comprising of seats pooled together on All India basis from various ESIC Colleges. These seats are filled by the wards of Insured Persons on All India Basis. These seats are filled on the basis of merit cum preference basis.

With a score of 400 your rank might be approximately between 121183-130881.  This is an expected rank range: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank . In 2019, under State Quota, 372 marks secured a seat in ESI Medical College under SC Category. But IP Quota is filled during the Mop Up round. With 400 marks, your chances are border line. Now this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Hello I am Sagnik Bachhar . I am a SC category student . I am trying for NEET UG . I am from Kolkata , West Bengal. So, what is the cut off marks for me in NEET UG 2020 or 2021 or 2022 ?? Actually, I want average cut off marks for a SC category students for last 10 years .

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 31st Jul, 2020

hello,

Cutoff marks for SC category is 40%ile of total score. in score range :- 133-107. cutoff is same for every year. There is no different cutoff every year.

To get admission into good MBBS college then you have to score above 550 even if you belong to SC category. for general category, candidates have to secure score above 600 to get better college option.

You can also apply for BDS and BAMS through NEET UG. You can give a try if you have interest in it.

In coming years, cutoff rank range for MBBS will decrease by 3-5%. Prepare yourself to secure above 80% of total score no matter what change is done in coming years. stay in safe site and achieve your goal.

Hope it helps!

NEET(UG) 2020 CUTOFF? KARNATAKA 85% GMK cutoff Marks how much?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 28th Aug, 2020

Hi

You have not mentioned the category you belong to so I am  assuming  you from general category if you belong to any other category then do let me know in comment .

In neet 2019, 461 marks was the lowest marks that was required for general category for getting  mbbs seat  in a government medical college under   under Karnataka 85% State quota and it was for Bowring and Lady Curzon Medical College and Research Institute, Bengaluru

But cut off marks  keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

So , you should target at least 500 marks in your neet 2020 examination  to be on the safer side

Thank you

I have applied for neet ug 2020 and not for mhcet. is there a way to get admission in bsc agriculture now.

mail2ankit04 17th Jul, 2020
Dear aspirant

For admissions in BSc. Agriculture course in government colleges you need to give entrance exams like ICAR.
ICAR is a national level entrance exam for government agriculture colleges .
You might appear for other examinations like the one conducted by BHU and other universities for admission to agricultural courses carried out by respective universities.
Various private agriculture colleges also conduct their entrance tests and you might opt for them too.

All the best.

No you will not face any problem in examination centre, these much of changes in name are acceptable, but if you want to be super safe then take copy of your father's aadhar also ,I have experienced this in my exam , they said that these much interventions are acceptable
