Can I get Koppal institute of medical sciences in Karnataka state. i belong to EWS category with 446 in neet UG 2021 in Maharashtra state If i participate in AIQ counseling ?

monstwerdash 5th Jan, 2022

Hello there ,

Hope you are doing well . See getting Koppal Institute of Medical Sciences, Karnataka won't be possible for you with a score of 446 through All India Quota Counselling despite having an EWS category. In fact for getting a government medical college through AIQ,you atleast needed to score 610+ in NEET -2021 .

For your convenience,I'll mention the cutoff marks and closing AIR for EWS category for getting Koppal Institute of Medical Sciences, Karnataka . The score was of around 625 and closing AIR of  10,442. This year too it's expected to be somewhat similar.

However you can try for management quota medical seats of your domicile state or might take a drop of you wish to .

You can have details of the colleges you can get into based on your NEET AIR and category both through AIQ and SQ of your state  from the link given below :

Sir/ Madam , I am a non- Karnataka student who has applied for admissions through KEA for NEET UG 2021. I had uploaded the mark card and other relevant documents . But I had a doubt whether it has been successfully uploaded and tried to upload it again. Is there any issue if we upload it twice?

Sohamsengupta8 5th Jan, 2022

Hello Student

Your trial for uploading the documents in respective website is not a matter of anxiety from your side. But the uploading of documents have done for NEET UG exam through KEA Karnataka Examination Authority for the first time  will be taken into account. Whether it is without mistake or with mistake will be accepted firstly. So do not be anxious about your first attempt of uploading your documents for the above mentioned neet-ug examination. The first time uploading documents will be taken into account only.

Hope this will help.

I got a score of 430 in neet ug 2021. This was my 2nd drop. I am from General category maharashtra. It is difficult for me to get mbbs, bams or dental college with those marks. I dont want to drop again. I cant afford private college. I am very depressed. I feel worthless. What should I do?

Riya 26th Nov, 2021

hello aspirant

Firstly you do not need to be depressed because you are one of those who has a lot of courage to take a drop year and give an another shot. Not many people have that amount of dedication and determination to read the same syllabus for more than 2 years now. so don't be disheartened as this is not the end to your career. Always have an optimistic outlook as there are hundreds of doors out there.

Now talking about your marks you can try and apply in government BAMS college as viewing the previous years cutoff the minimum marks for government BAMS college is 420+ for general category students

If we apply from state quota for neet ug 2021 Maharashtra councelling for private medical college then I will get government seat in that particular private college right

dishtiv 3rd Jan, 2022
Hello aspirant!
Hope you are doing well.

Yes you are eligible to get the government quota seats of the private colleges in Maharashtra if you belong to that state.
So yes, if you apply from state quota then you will get government seats of the private colleges.

And if you apply for institutional quota, then you will get the management quota seats of the private colleges of Maharashtra.

And there is another option that is both quotas. So in this you can get both type of seats.

expected cut off for Jss Mysore(neet ug 2021)

vermajismya 23rd Nov, 2021
Dear student

Every year cutoff changes it's depend on the performance of students as you can see this year 700-720 marks (165 student were there)
Last year aiq cutoff 618 for general

I can tell you the last year cutoff you can guess more or less 5-10 marks difference from last year to this year

Close selection will be based on rank so I am giving last year closing rank cutoff-
General category
59388 -1 round closing rank
64322 -2 round closing rank
39477 - mopup round closing rank
For example if you belong to SC category
And you have rank 123779 there will be chance through aiq

So first of all participate in counselling and see the last year cutoff on the basis of rank

Hi Sir, I am getting 380 marks in NEET UG 2021 and basically from Andhra Pradesh with OBC - female, can i get B- Category admission in Karnataka or Telangana private colleges and fee details?

ADRIKA mONDAL 2nd Jan, 2022

Hi,

With the marks of 380 in NEET 2021 and also belonging to the obc category, the chances of getting a seat in the government medical colleges is not at all possible. As because the cutoff goes quite high enough. For the private medical colleges there might be some chances also for the B category admission. The private colleges in Telangana may include-

MNR Medical College and Hospital, Sangareddy 11,55,000/-

Mamata Medical College, Khammam 11,55,000/-

Apollo institute of Medical Sciences And Research 11,00,000/-

AIR is 13602 for NEET UG 2021. can i get mbbs government college in Mumbai under open category

monstwerdash 1st Jan, 2022

Hello there ,

Hope you are doing well . Firstly congratulations for your NEET-2021 AIR.See,as of now it's very difficult to predict the exact cut-offs as they keep changing every year depending on various factors like no. of students appeared, difficulty level of the question paper ,seat matrix and overall performance of the students . But we can have an idea of your probability of getting selected into your desired medical college based on previous year's cutoff scores and ranks through State quota .

The cutoffs this year are expected to be similar to last year's or may increase marginally. So I'll firstly tell you the cutoff for government medical colleges specifically in Mumbai through Maharashtra state quota counselling post NEET-2020 for a general category candidate.

College.           NEET 2020 AIR.             NEET score

Seth G.S.               2669.                       657(plains)

Medical college,    1104.                       671(hilly)

Mumbai.

Grant Medical             8675.                   630(plains)

College,Mumbai.         3654.                     651(hilly)

H.B.T. Medical            10830.                622(plains)

College, Mumbai.        9315.                   627(hilly)

Lokmanya Tilak             8305.                 631(plains)

Municipal                       5013.                    645(hilly)

Medical College,

Mumbai

Topiwala national.       8601.                 630(plains)

medical college,.          8365.                    630(hilly)

Mumbai

So , from the above data with an AIR of about13.5k and being a general category candidate, getting a government medical college in Mumbai seem to be a bit difficult for you eventhough there are a lot other government colleges in Maharashtra that you'll get easily based on your AIR . I'll advice you to undergo the Counselling process properly till the last round and do choice filling really carefully ,placing the colleges you prefer the most at the very beginning.

You can have details of the colleges you can get into based on your NEET AIR and category both through AIQ and SQ of your state  from the link given below :
