if I get 215 marks in neet UG 2021 from West Bengal and I belong to sc category is there in government colleges?

rajeevanand843 14th Sep, 2021

Dear aspirant

This is very low marks to get MBBS in government medical College in any category in west bengal.

Neet 2020 lowest cut off for SC category in government college was at 452 marks.

So there is almost no chance of getting govt college in MBBS/BDS course at your expected marks.

Use NEET UG college predictor tool to know your other admission possibilities for MBBS, BDS & Ayush courses.

Hello Sir, Im from general catogory and scoring 525 in NEET UG 2021, can get a gov medical clg in maharashtra by stste quota

Anurag Khanna 14th Sep, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See on such marks and category you have no chances of getting any of the GMCs in Maharashtra according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that in 2019 the lowest cut-off marks was 539 for Government Medical College, Gondia under state quota for General category and we saw an increase of around 25-30 marks in institutional cut-offs in 2020. So if you are targeting for NEET 2021 then your score should not be less than 570 out of 720 marks especially for Government medical colleges in Maharashtra.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

Sharon Rose Student Expert 4th Aug, 2021

Hello,

There is no number of limit to appear for NEET UG. So if you haven't qualified in NEET UG  2021 or haven't scored decent rank then you can a year drop and prepare for NEET UG 2022 and appear. It does not matter if you have registered for NEET UG 2021. You can appear for NEET any number of times. As of now there is no upper age limit to appear for NEET UG until supreme court passes its judgement regarding the upper age limit for NEET UG.

In NEET Ug 2021 I score 500 marks. Can you suggest me a government college in which if am eligibile to get admission? I am from up with OBC Category.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 13th Sep, 2021

Hi

Your profile suggest that your domicile state is Uttar Pradesh

It's quite difficult to predict because cut off  depends upon various factors like

------------) number of students that appeared in the neet exam,

------------) kind of marks obtained by them ,

------------)  toughness level of the neet examination

------------)  number of seats available etc

When we go through previous data then

With 500 marks,

You hold  a  low chance in a Government Medical College

For example,

in neet  2019, 573 marks for obc category was the cut off marks  to get a seat in Govt. Medical College   under UP  state quota and it was for Autonomous Medical College, Bahraich

You can check the same at

You have chances in deemed universities for mbbs which are listed below along with their neet 2020 , 2nd round cut off :-

----------) K.S Hegde Medical Academy, Mangaluru:- 491 marks

----------) Rural Medical College and PIMS, Loni:- 489 marks

----------) Amrita Institute of Medical Science, Kochi:- 479 marks

----------) Manipal Tata Jamshed Pur:- 468 marks

----------) SDU Medical College, Kolar:- 466 marks

And a few more
