I have entered wrong Category during Neet UG application form. Can i change that during Second phase Registration

Maryam Sara 18th Sep, 2021

Hello Priansu Chakraborty,

Yes, you can get it corrected during the time when the correction window was opened. Bit if you did not do that or were unable to do so then you can still get it corrected at the time of counselling and physical verification of documents.

So no need to worry.

HOPE THIS HELPS

if i put permanent address and present address of two different states in NEET Ug application form then at the time of counselling under state quota , would I be eligible for both the states or i would be eligible only for the permanent address state?

Sumona Maiti 9th Sep, 2021

Hello,

No, you won't be eligible for two different states, in the time of counselling. As there are only 85% state quota seats (for any 1 state ) available at the time of counselling. Moreover while at the time of admission, you have to submit the domicile certificate and you can have the domicile certificate of any one state, having domicile certificate of more than one state is unlawful.

Hence I am very sorry to say, that you are eligible for getting admission in  any of the one state.

Hope this answer helps you.

Thank you!

I chose ur catagory in neet ug application form of 2021 because my ews certificate is not ready then bt now is ready can i use it in councelling??

pushpachoudhary7413 28th Aug, 2021
Hello , hope you doing good.
I can see your dilemma , but unfortunately ,  you cannot claim EWS benefits by selecting General Category in NEET application. But if you had selected EWS and then produce relevant certificates you would have been able to avail the reservation benefits.
You could have done a correction in your form but unfortunately , the correction window has been closed , so you can't do anything now.
I'm sorry to say but you'll not be able to avail any benefits of your EWS certificate

But don't be disheartened , prepare your best and do good in your exam , I'm sure you'll secure a seat in a good college

If a NEET UG candidate does not mention the Name and date in the photograph used in NEET UG application form will face any problem ?? Will NTA banned that candidate forever to appear in NEET UG exam for this reason ??

Anurag Khanna 7th Aug, 2021

Hello Sir,

No you won't be banned for this reason because it is preferred to have name and date on the photograph but it is not mandatory so if you don't have that one, don't worry because you can make correction in it. What you can do is just replace the currently uploaded image with the new one which clearly mentions the name and date and you can do this during the NEET 2021 correction window which will be opened on August 11th and will remain open till August 14th and you can follow the given steps to make correction in it :-

** Visit the official site of NEET 2021and click on the button saying' Correction in NEET UG 2021 Application form'.

** Now login using his login credentials.

** Edit/delete/modify the details whichever required in NEET 2021 application form.

** After making corrections just click on 'Preview and Submit' and then preview the form if it does not require further modification then just submit it.

** Now you will get an OTP on your registered mobile number and e-mail, just enter it and your correction will be submitted.

** Now take the print out of the NEET correction slip for future references.

Images should be uploaded in the prescribed specifications as given below :-

-->> Passport size photograph (10-200 Kb in JPG format),

-->> Signature (4-30 Kb in JPG Format),

-->> Class 10th certificate and category certificate(50-300 Kb in PDF Format),

-->> Left-Hand Thumb impression (10-200 Kb in JPG format) and

-->> Postcard size photograph (4"*6")(10-200 Kb in JPG Format).

should I write wrong name of my parents in neet ug application form(devi and kumar missing) same as that is written in 10th marksheet Or write the correct name(along with devi and kumar) as written in 12tg marksheet and other documents

avimishra397 4th Aug, 2021

Hey Aspirant,

The application form does not play a major role but still go for the correct name. After clearing your examination during the counseling session you may face a problem as the document is verified very precisely. Any change or wrong detail can lead to the cancellation of your admission. Ask your school teacher for the procedure of changing details in the document. Your all documents should have the same information.

i filled my parents name in neet ug application form according to 10th marksheet but this name is wrong as kumar and devi are missing in this marksheet but my other documents and 12th marksheet are correct. so what should I do now??

Hello Aspirant,

-->> Address details - Permanent, correspondence address and contact details

-->> Image discrepancy.

Now you have issue with your parents name in NEET Application form so don't worry because according to the above list, the parents details can be modified in NEET correction window which will be active from August 8th-12th. So make sure to modify it during that time.

You can follow the given steps to make correction in it :-
