CS usually gets filled by top 300–500 rank holders. If you get in top 300 then you have a good chance of getting in CS. There is a other way round if you don’t get in top 300, you can get the seat through management quota, but the fee is around 80000-100000 more than the normal fee. Otherwise you can take any other stream which you like and keep CS in waiting, if anyone leave the college you may get a seat depending on your rank.

Both the colleges are equally good for management course. You can choose either of the college for for pursing your post graduation. Both the colleges have good faculty, infrastructure and placements.

AMSOM is a private business school and is affiliated to Ahmedabad University. College accepts application through CAT, CMAT, MAT. It's total fees for 2 years is approx 3,04,000. It's average package is approx 3.86 lacs whereas it's highest package is 5.4 lacs. Good companies like L& T Finance ltd., Karvy stock broking ltd., Kotak Life Insurance,Axis bank, KPMG, Naukari.com, Prakash Chemicals ltd. and many more good companies come there for placements.
Whereas, For Nmims is a deemed to be University located in Mumbai. It have 6 other branches as well but Mumbai is considered to be best branch of all. It's total fees for 2 years is approx 14 lacs. Average package is 17.58 lacs. whereas, highest package is 34.11 lacs. Some of the good comapanies like GSK, Sun Pharma, Morgan stanley, JP Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs do come for placements.

NMIMS is far better than PES in terms of placements. The highest package offered was 30.6 LPA for the batch of 2016-18 and the average package offered was 17.6 LPA. Although PES is still picking up its pace. In terms of fee structure, Fees at NMIMS is around INR 14,50,000 whereas PES has that of INR 8,00,000. The exam accepted by NMIMS is NMAT whereas PES accepts CAT,CMAT,MAT,GMAT scores. The course offered by NMIMS is PGDM and PES offers MBA degree.

YES the sections for both are similar i.e both exam has three section and the time limit is 120 min for both
1 Quantitative & Numerical ability
2 Reasoning & General Intelligence
3 Proficiency in English Language
the only difference is number of question for each section varies
for nmims each section has 40 questions and nmat has Language Skills 32questions ,Quantitative Skills 48Q,Logical Reasoning 40Q

NMIMS offers a five year BBA-MMS program where the students have thw opportunity to pursue MMS after completuon of their BBA.
The eligibility criteria for the same is to score a minimum 60% in their 10+2. Also candidates should have passed in Maths/statistics in 10+ 2.
