So the NTPC selection process is divided into 5 stages:
1. Preliminary Exam
- General Awareness, basic reasoning and math skills are assessed
2. Mains Exam
- A 90 minutes exam carrying 120 marks with negative marking
- Tests the candidate in same domains as prelims
3. Skill Test
Aims to assess two basic skills:-
a) Computer - Based Aptitude
b) Typing Skill
4. Document Verification
5. Medical Examination and Fitness Test

This year gate paper for electrical stream was simpler in comparison to previous years.Cuttoff of PSUs and IITs may go high this year.But you can expect PSUs call letter as you are from SC category.Your gate score will be around 675-720.To get call letter from PSUs you need at least 600 score under SC category.For sureity wait till all PSUs declares own cuttoff score for each category.

There are many posts open for recruitment under RRB, you may apply for posts which do not require graduation because according to the notification, candidates need to ensure that they possess/fulfill all eligibility conditions prescribed for the post(s) as on the closing date of online registration i.e. as on 31.03.2019. Candidates waiting for FINAL RESULTS of prescribed educational qualification should not apply.
