NTPC Limited
Dear Riya, BC comes under OBC Category. However there are 2 sub categories in OBC depending upon the Annual Income of your family. They are OBC-NCL, OBC-Creamy Layer. OBC-NCL is the option for those candidates whose Annual Income from all sources is less than 6 lakhs per annum. And OBC Creamy layer is for those candidates whose Annual income from all sources is more than 6 lakhs per annum. Based on your family income, you need to choose either OBC-NCL or OBC-Creamy Layer.
Sir,I will have been completing final year in since June 2019, and result declare that time. So I am eligible for RRB NTPC post.
Hi Jotava , as you are in final year , exam is not over and your result is in waiting condition you are not eligible to write the exam in this year. You have to wait till your results are not out. As they are strictly mentioned that students with awaiting results should not apply.
I hope it will help.
Thanks.
Hello.
GPA and CGPA are grade systems used in different colleges and universities to assign an evaluative measure of a student’s scholastic abilities.
• Both GPA and CGPA are reflective of a student’s performance in a semester or the entire course that he has studied, but some colleges give more importance to GPA than CGPA while granting admissions to students.
• GPA is calculated for a single term or a year, whereas CGPA is calculated for the entire duration of a course.
• Many colleges have a cut off GPA for admission into different courses. This means that a student must consistently obtain high GPA.
• CGPA is for a whole course which means that a high CGPA requires good GPA in all years.
Hope this is helpful.
Good luck.

Hello Shubham
If you are expecting a rank of 132 in ECE then congrats man you can be shorlisted for various of PSU's.
ONGC and NTPC will be easy(maybe) but i think BARC will be difficult as it sometimes shorlist only under 50 AIR. AAI and NTRO will be easy whereas HPCL and Powergrid will be impossible as it only takes under 100 AIR sometimes even under 50.
dear aspirant,
as per your score you have very less chances to get ongc, iocl, ntpc, bhel because your score is less and you belong to general category
all the best
thank you
Hi
Yes definetly you have chance go getting into WBSEDCL.
Last year 2018 the cutoff for WBSEDCL in OBC A category was 23.34 and you have got 58.33 marks which means your score is way above the cutoff.
Apply that PSU, after application you will be shortlisted for personal interview. Final selection is based on personal interview.
Hi Alka Rani, as per your query for the admission in NTPC all the candidates who have applied to NSB and meet the minimum eligibility criteria as shown in the below table are eligible for Personnel Assessment (PA). The criteria for short-listing of candidates will be based on various factors like the applicant's profile, the distribution of CAT/XAT/GMAT scores etc. However, a minimum eligibility criterion does not imply a call for the PA.

Now telling about the placement opportunities of NTPC School of Business (NSB), it has experienced accelerated growth in academics in just four years of its commencement. Since then, NSB was offering PGDM (Executive) to candidates from the energy sector, sponsored by their employers. The demand for Energy Management resulted in direct initiation of a two-year PGDM (Energy Management) programme, with curtailed efforts by NTPC Education and Research Society and mentorship of IIM Ahmedabad, approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). In addition to this, NSB has also started offering AICTE approved Executive PGDM to self-sponsored candidates who want to behold their career acceleration in the energy sector. Higher growth rates and increasing recognition as an emerging institution offering specialization in energy management have attracted many first-time recruiters to the institute. Therefore the placement opportunities are high here and you can take admission .
