Hi. MSc in Nutrition and dietitics is a two year (full time) post graduate program which primarily deals with nutrition and its impact on our health and body.
The eligibility for Masters of Science (MSc.) in Nutrition and Dietitics is as follows:
1. Qualifying previous UG exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (some relaxation for reserved category students). The UG degree can be in any science- related discipline. As you mentioned, you have completed BSc in botany, so you are easily eligible.
2. Marks obtained in university level entrance exams also play a major role.
The career opportunities are also good. You can get recruited as a clinical dietitian, nutrition product manager, community dietitian, food scientist, quality control manager, food production manager etc. in government as well as private firms. A 'mixed background' does not matter. What matters is your skill, knowledge, and performance in both degrees.
