Yes, a PhD in Biomedical Engineering is possible after a B.E. in Biomedical Engineering and an MBA in Hospital Management.PhD programs in Biomedical Engineering typically focus on research in a specific area of the field like biomaterials, biomechanics, or medical imaging. Your coursework in the MBA program might not directly apply to these research areas. Reach out to professors at universities with biomedical engineering PhD programs that align with your interests. Discuss your background and career goals to see if they will be willing to mentor you.
Look for research assistant positions or independent research projects that can help you gain experience and potentially lead to publications.

Hi!
Master of Business Administration (MBA) is one of the most popular postgraduate programme in India among candidates. Some of the institutions offer PGDM or PGPM programme in place of an MBA. Candidates who hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in any stream with a minimum percentage can apply and appear for the entrance examination. Candidates who obtain a minimum required percentile as specified by the individual institution move to the next stage of the admission process which is a GDPI/ GEPI or WATPI process.
Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) are the mecca of management education in the country who accept the percentile obtained by candidates in the Common Admission Test (CAT). This is the National Level Aptitude Test conducted by 6 IIMs i.e., IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Lucknow, Indore, and Kozhikode on the rotational basis.
A number of reputed business schools in the country accept the scores of CAT for its MBA admission. The duration of the exam is 2 hours which consists of three major sections as mentioned below:
Each section has a sectional timing of 40 minutes. Given below is the list of some of the renowned management institutes in the country:
The list of the above-mentioned management institutes is non-exhaustive. Every institute has their own selection criteria.
Some of the elite IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) also offer an MBA. The admission is exclusively based on the CAT percentile. Given below is the list of some of the IITs offering an MBA:
CAT is not the only way to gain access to the India’s top business schools. Even though many of the non-IIMs accept the scores of the CAT only, some of the institutes conduct their own entrance exam. There are some other entrance exams which are conducted by specific institutes but the entrance scores are accepted by other associate institutes as well. These other renowned MBA entrance exams (also known as OMETs) are XAT, SNAP, NMAT, SRCC GBO, CMAT, MAT, etc.
I hope this information will help you get some insights about the MBA course. To know more about the MBA course in detail, click here .
