Admission to the MBA college in India is based on scores or percentile obtained by candidates in the entrance examinations such as CAT / XAT/ CMAT / MAT, etc. No college predefines its admission cutoff as it may vary every year depending upon a number of factors. 56 percentile in any of the entrance examination might not fetch you an Interview call from a number of B-Schools if you are a general category candidate.
