Here is the official syllabus of Chemical science subject https://d2cyt36b7wnvt9.cloudfront.net/exams/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/28185930/20181113114718481mcs_cs_sylbs.pdf
Best of luck.
Hi.
There are many books out there to clear theoretical approach of organic chemistry. However, most recommended is Organic Chemistry by O P Tandon . I do not claim that it will be best for you, but it has some good explanation of the topics. You can also check books like- Organic Chemistry by Morrison & Boyd , Organic Chemistry by Paula Bruice and ofcourse, do not forget NCERT Chemistry if you have aiming for JEE Mains.
Best of Luck.

Hey!
from my own personal experience i would suggest you to go with oswaal or comprehensive (laxmi publications). these books really help you in organic chemistry a lot more than what NCERT does.
and also you may try some previous year papers, so that you will get some idea about how the questions are being asked.
i hope it helps you
Hi Arjun!
Yes, Surendra Kumar Mishra Sir's Chemistry Book is very much a good choice for preparing for JEE.
It consists of various contents in it including problems and solutions for all bases of chemistry. It also has numerous MCQs sheets for better practice.
You can purchase the book from any bookstore or simply from Amazon or Flipkart.
Hope this is helpful!
All the very best!
Dear Aspirant ,
First of all you should understand the fact that the Chemistry Ncerts will be indispensable for getting 160+.
You have to read each and every line of all the four books(2 vol. of 11th and 2 of 12th) including those few small chapters at the last which everyone thinks are useless. Also you should do all the problems given in between the chapters and also those given at the back. This will help you to make a very strong base in chemistry.
For organic chemistry you can rely on ncerts completely. Try learning the reactions by writing them separately and revising them on a regular basis.
For inorganic chemistry try making some mnemonics as they will help you a lot and try writing the reactions many times.
You should also do the last year question papers either from- {37 years jee problems (Disha publications) } or from {GRB PUBLICATIONS (Neet edition)}.
Revision is absolutely necessary in the last 2 months and you should revise as many times as you can.
