criteria for the post of lecturer for audiology and speech language pathology

NAINA SHARMA 14th Nov, 2020

Hi Aspirant,

BASLP is a strong career choice for those involved in the fields of speech and audiology. However, the ultimate outcome of BASLP becoming a successful career depends on your perception of the course and the effort you put into it.

Speech-language pathologists require a master of science (M.Sc.) in speech language pathology to practice.

The popular job positions for BASLP graduates are as Audiology Reader, Speech Pathology Reader, Speech Pathologist, Speech Audiologist, Audiometry Technician, Clinical Supervisor, Teacher, Lecturer, Audiologist, etc.

The main criteria for the post of lecturer is that you should have atleast MSc. in the respective course. This will helps you tp get better job opportunities as a lecturer in the required field.

Hope it helps you.

Thank you

Sir,How to cover concepts of pathology for neet PG in my third year as I didnt study Robbins in my second year?

Priya 6th Nov, 2020

Hello,

See, it is a myth that you need to learn everything from the book in detail. Pick up any book of the subject and try to make your basics strong. Use your third and Fourth year to make your basics very strong, cause most of the questions become easy to attempt if your basics are strong.

Use the standard books for the subjects, any book which makes it easier for you to understand the concept.

For pathology you can go for the book by Devesh Mishra, it is easier to understand and has in-depth information.

Hope it helps.

i am studying in ty zoology. is there any need for NEET pg for pathology courses ??

prince2019ad 10th Oct, 2020

Hi hope you are doing good.

Your question is not quite clear but I think you are asking about whether you can join a higher education in pathology sector without appearing for neet PG.

Let me tell you that need PG e is is an extremely different exam. It's for medical graduates which is people with MBBS degree.

So, there is no need of appearing for neet PG for you to pursue and higher education in pathology branch.

If I had cleared all your doubts. If you have any more questions you can ask them in the comments section.

If you want to know about top colleges for zoology you can add another question or just ask me in the comment section.

Also you should know that most often most of the universities offering higher education in pathology don't conduct a seperate exam, they conduct students from the BSc marks.

So if you are planning for a career in pathology you should focus more on getting a higher CGPA.
