cut off for m pharmacy in Quality assurance

Nikita shahi 13th Jul, 2025

Hi there,

If you are thinking of my doing M.Pharmacy in Quality Assurance, the cutoffs totally depend on the college, the entrance exam you had given, and the category you belong to. Because every university or institute sets its own admission rules. Generally, most admissions are done through exams like:

GPAT is accepted by many government and top private colleges. Some states also conduct separate entrance exams for pharmacy PG courses. If we talk about GPAT-based admissions, a safe score for Quality Assurance in reputed colleges can range between 110 to 140+ marks for the General category. But this can change every year depending on:Seat availability in that branch and how demanding the branch is in that college.

For reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST), the cutoff might be lower. Also, colleges that are newly established or not in metro areas might have lower cutoffs too. Colleges like Jamia Hamdard, BITS Pilani, Manipal, and some state government universities have higher cutoffs because the branch is in demand and the placements are good in pharma companies.

Some students got Quality Assurance even with GPAT scores below 120 last year, especially in new colleges.

It’s better to keep an eye on the previous year's cutoffs of specific colleges.

Also, if you don’t have a GPAT score or a year’s score, you can explore management quota in private colleges, but the fees might be higher.

My cuet score is 375 Can I get any pharmacy college Category - general

Nikita shahi 22nd Jul, 2025

Hi ,

With a CUET score of 375 isn’t bad, especially if you’re flexible about the location and type of college. Admission chances in top-tier central universities might be hard in the general category, but many state universities, private colleges, and deemed universities do consider candidates in this score range, but good private pharmacy colleges like those affiliated with UPTU, MDU, or private universities in states like Rajasthan, Maharashtra, or Tamil Nadu could be accessible. Keep an eye on individual college cut-offs and apply early during counselling. Some colleges also offer spot admissions if seats remain vacant.

Thank you!

I got 12004 ranki ap eamcet and my caste is bcd so is it possible to get a seat in sri venkateswara university for b pharmacy

Prachi Kumari 8th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Yes, with a rank of 12004 in AP EAPCET and BC-D category, you have a good chance of getting a seat in B.Pharmacy at Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati.

The closing rank for BC-D category in B.Pharmacy at SVU is usually much higher than your rank, so your chances are strong. You can expect a seat in the first or second round of counselling.

Hope it helps !

what government Pharmacy colleges can I get through bcece UR rank 6138 and EWS rank 835 (PCB)

Pradeepa P 4th Jul, 2025

Your UR rank of 6138 and EWS rank of 835 are below the usual closing ranks for government BPharm seats in Bihar, which are generally around UR 3000 and BC 4377. This makes admission to top government pharmacy colleges like Government Pharmacy Institute Patna or MIT Muzaffarpur unlikely under the UR or EWS categories.

You should consider private or government-aided pharmacy colleges in Bihar, where ranks up to 10000 are typically accepted.

Make sure to participate in BCECE counselling, selecting EWS category options and private colleges to improve your chances of admission.
