cut off for m pharmacy in Quality assurance
Hi there,
If you are thinking of my doing M.Pharmacy in Quality Assurance, the cutoffs totally depend on the college, the entrance exam you had given, and the category you belong to. Because every university or institute sets its own admission rules. Generally, most admissions are done through exams like:
GPAT is accepted by many government and top private colleges. Some states also conduct separate entrance exams for pharmacy PG courses. If we talk about GPAT-based admissions, a safe score for Quality Assurance in reputed colleges can range between 110 to 140+ marks for the General category. But this can change every year depending on:Seat availability in that branch and how demanding the branch is in that college.
For reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST), the cutoff might be lower. Also, colleges that are newly established or not in metro areas might have lower cutoffs too. Colleges like Jamia Hamdard, BITS Pilani, Manipal, and some state government universities have higher cutoffs because the branch is in demand and the placements are good in pharma companies.
Some students got Quality Assurance even with GPAT scores below 120 last year, especially in new colleges.
It’s better to keep an eye on the previous year's cutoffs of specific colleges.
Also, if you don’t have a GPAT score or a year’s score, you can explore management quota in private colleges, but the fees might be higher.
