pavani lekkala 27th Dec, 2024

Hi,

HM College, Manjeri, generally requires candidates to fill out an application form for admission. For B.Sc. Nursing entrance exams, the syllabus typically includes Biology, Chemistry, General Knowledge, Nursing Aptitude, and Current Affairs . Physics and English are usually not part of the entrance exam syllabus for B.Sc. Nursing

Regarding the minimum marks, it can vary depending on the specific entrance exam and institution. Generally, a good score in the 12th-grade exams (around 50% or higher) is required for eligibility.

As for the counseling process, after the entrance exam, candidates who qualify are usually called for a counseling session where they can choose their preferred college and course based on their rank and availability of seats

Syed Ali 22nd Dec, 2024

Hey Dali Patel,

For Class 12th Physics, the NCERT app is highly recommended as it provides free access to the official NCERT textbooks. Alternatively, you can use apps like BYJU’S, Physics Galaxy, or Doubtnut for interactive content, videos, and solutions to textbook questions. These apps cover the full syllabus, including theory and numericals, making them ideal for board exams and entrance tests like NEET or JEE. Download them from Google Play or the App Store.

I hope to have answered your query

Explain about light rays in physics

Samprikta Mondal 21st Dec, 2024

A light ray is the simplified concept about how the light travels.  While light can have wave-like properties, it has many practical situations in which it moves in straight lines. This is what people call as light rays. The direction in which the energy flows of light is expressed through a light ray; that is it shows how light energy moves along from a source to any other point. In a uniform medium (like air or a vacuum), light rays travel in straight lines. Light rays are mostly drawn as straight lines with arrows pointing towards the direction of light propagation.
Reflection: When the light ray hits a surface and bounces back is known as reflection. Angle of incidence is the angle in which the light hits the surface and angle of reflection in which it bounces back are equal.
Refraction: When light travels from one medium into another (for example from air into water), it bends. This bending is known as refraction. This bending is determined by properties of the two media in question.
Optical Instruments: The behavior of rays of light helps us comprehend how lenses, mirrors and prisms work. Since we can trace the paths which light takes through these devices, we can predict how an image will be formed in them. Refraction of light

What is Atwood machines In physics

Samprikta Mondal 19th Dec, 2024

Well atwood machine is a very simple device that is used to show the laws of motion, specifically the Newton's second law which consists of two masses M1 M2 and connected by a r massless Inextensible string that passes over a frictionless massless pulley. As The masses are different the heavier mass let us say which is M1 will accelerate downwards while the lighter mass M2 will accelerate upward. the tension in the string is the same and IT act as a balanced to the weight of both the masses Also the acceleration of the whole system can be calculated using Newton second law. and the fbd diagrams of two masses. These machines are used in the lapse to experimentally verify the Newton's laws of motion and to study the concepts of tension friction, etc.

Komal Garg 17th Dec, 2024

Hello aspirant,

Chemistry was marked as additional, and you did not pass it, so you may need to retake the exam. To be eligible for NEET, you must pass all three core subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). with a minimum of 40% marks for a OBC candidate.  If you do not pass Chemistry, you may be unable to sit for NEET until you clear that subject

Because Chemistry is a fundamental subject for NEET, you should pass the Chemistry exam (by re-test or additional exam). To be eligible for NEET, you must pass all of your core subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).

Confirm the status of your Chemistry subject with your school or board. If it was designated as additional and you did not pass, enquire about how to clear it (for example, through a supplementary or re-test).

Once you have completed all of the needed topics (including Chemistry), you will be able to take the NEET 2025. Make sure you meet the minimum aggregate marks necessary for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology together.

NEET (National Eligibility and Entrance Test) is a national-level entrance exam in India for undergraduate medical courses (MBBS, BDS, and other associated degrees) in medical colleges around the country. The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers NEET, which is a very important entrance test for aspiring medical students.

The minimum marks required in Class 12 are:

  1. General category: At least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined.
  2. OBC/SC/ST categories: At least 40% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined.
