I have completed b. sc in physiology, am I eligible for neet? what will be my qualification code?

Abinash Panigrahi 9th Dec, 2019

Nabanita ;

Your qualification code will be 06 in case you've already passed BSc course. But you must be a Bsc passout with any two subjects from physics, chemistry, biology (botany or zoology )/biotechnology .Also in 12th the student taken physics, chemistry, biology and English.

Now,

eligibility condition of neet ug 2020 is

Candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with Chemistry, Biology and Physics as mandatory subjects. They must have scored a minimum of 50% in aggregate and in each subject too. OBC/ SC/ST candidates must have scored a minimum of 40% while PwD candidates must score at least 45% in the qualifying exam.

If you fulfil the above educational qualification conditions then you are eligible to apply neet ug application form but in application form you have to fill your  qualifying code as you are now in Bsc .

Here I am describing the all qualification code in a simple way -

code 01.  -This code is for the students who are appearing the 12th in 2020 and having subjects physics, chemistry , biology and English as a compulsory subjects.

code 02.  -This code is for the students who have passed the 12th standard form CBSC/ ISC and not taken addmission anywhere  (dropper or freshers ).

code 03 .  -This code is for the students who have passed their 12th from any state board(like up board, jac board, Karnataka board etc) with Physics, chemistry, biology /biotechnology and English as a compulsory subjects. (dropper or freshers ).

code 04.  -This code is for the students who have taken addmission in any pre medical or pre professional exam with Physics, chemistry, biology and English      after 12th .(example -nursing, pharma etc)

code 05.  -This code for first year students of Bsc with Physics, chemistry, biology /biotechnology. Also in 12th the student taken physics, chemistry, biology / biotechnology and English as a compulsory subjects.

Bsc second year students can fill code 02

code 06. -This code is for the students who are Bsc passout with any two subjects physics, chemistry, biology (botany or zoology )/biotechnology .Also in 12th the student taken physics, chemistry, biology and English.

code 07. -This code is not for Indian students .this is only for NRI and overseas students who have passed 12th with Physics, chemistry, biology.

what is the difference between anatomy and physiology

Ameya Narendra Parkar 7th Dec, 2019
Dear saurabh,
I would like to explain the difference between anatomy and physiology.
The word anatomy means structure , while physiology refers to function '.
Anatomy is the concept that deals with the study of structure like muscles, bones and interior organs of the body. It is the kind of static research.
Whereas,
Physiology is the concepts that deal with the study of functions of different organs like digestion, respiration, reproduction, osmoregulation.

Also,
Anatomy is important in the understanding of the anatomy of a living organism is vital to know about every part of the body.
Whereas,
Physiology is important in the understanding of the physiology of a living organism is essential to know the function of every organ of the body.

Another difference is,
Anatomy deals with the body's structure, different parts like cells, tissues, organs and organ system, etc.
And,
Physiology deals with the working of the body's part and their specific roles.

I would like to give one example so that you can understand the difference between anatomy and physiology,
Anatomy of the heart means, the structure of the heart, its chambers, arteries, veins, the valves, etc.
And, Physiology means how the pumping of the blood is done by heart.

I hope you understand the difference between anatomy and physiology.

All the best.
