suggest me a question answer type of book on physiology for 1st year mbbs

Ronak Gala Student Expert 11th Nov, 2019

There are no such books available actually which will be question answer kind of which used to be in our school days in the Navneet digest. You'll meet with concepts and theories as you did in the 12th biology ncert and then at the end there will be questions given. I can still guide you with the good books available. Read Guyton/Ganong all through the proff and afterward you can allude to Indu Khurana's medicinal physiology for ug/AK Jain(only multi month before exams)

Hi aspirant,

There are many opportunities present in the neuroscience field. You can get a job in intensive care units like special environments to diagnose or treat the nerve problems. You can get an average salary of 200000 to 1600000 in India per year. To continue your study, you have many good options in India also. To go abroad analyse your financial status and consult with your parents. If you wish to work in abroad, better to select your studies there.

All the best

how to mange the time in study anatomy, physiology and biochemistry

Ronak Gala Student Expert 18th Oct, 2019

Start by learning the fundamentals of both biology and chemistry (specially topics like cell biology, body systems, organic & inorganic equations). Once you do that, go through videos, charts and 3D models that cover all three topics. This will reinforce the fundamentals.

There are two books I have used, and recommend, for those studying these subjects:

1) Ross Anatomy and Physiology

2) Ace Biochemistry by Dr. Holden Hemsworth

Both are great for solidifying your understanding of anatomy, physiology & biochemistry and will also help you deal with advanced topics easily.

Best wishes. Thank you.

How is the Medical Physiology book by Dr. CC Chatterjee compared to Dr. Debasis Pramanik?

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 9th Nov, 2019
Hello.
Both the books  are better for medical psychology but the method of writing is different in both it depends on the people who is going to study it , for some people one is good for some people another is good, I will suggest you to first read both  and then you can specify which is better for you.
And practice question you can also refer some online resources and previous year papers.
Best of luck.

which book is better for studying anatomy and physiology during exams as a quick review?

Thakur Megha 4th Oct, 2019
Hello Aspirant,

For Anatomy Grey's anatomy and tortora's principals of anatomy and physiology is best ,
And for physiology : Physiology by Sembulingam is better ,
And ROSS and WILSON is the best book for quick review during exams but it will have limited matter compared to Tortora's book,
So during normal times study from TORTORA, and all other books which i mentioned and make your own notes written by your hands in a shortnote format,
And  before exam or during exam  it's better to have a look at your own notes for quick review ,
When you will be having less time ,

I hope the above information is useful to you ,

I wish you good luck ,

All the best !

which book helpful for practicesing the question for anatomy mbbs 1st year

Sunanda Dhar Student Expert 29th Sep, 2019

Hello there hope you are doing well.Let me tell you anatomy is the most important part,so its my advice for you to make this part clear from very first only, here I am listing four books

B. D Chaurasia's Human Anatomy For Upper Limb, Lower Limb, Thorax And Abdomen

This book has a lot of details for the examination. The best feature of this book is the fact that all the details are given in a step-by-step bulletin manner with the most important points being highlighted. This ensures that you can score maximum marks by putting in the minimum effort. Studying from this book alone is enough to fetch you 50-60 per cent marks in your first MBBS exam.

Head and Neck By Vishram Singh

For students who are used to studying guide books and other books by Indian authors, this is a blessing. This book has just the right amount of information that will not confuse you but will provide enough information to ensure that you score well.

Once you are well versed with the contents of this book you can go for other books that are written by foreign authors, but it is always a good practise to start with this book.

Clinical Anatomy By Snell

Irrespective of which discipline of medicine you want to pursue a career in, clinical anatomy is something that you will need. While there are a number of books on this subject, it is always a good practise to begin with the best.

This book will not just help you to score well in the first medical exam of your life, but it will also be useful when you prepare for PG entrance tests and will be a constant companion for you throughout your career.

Gray's Anatomy For Students By Henry Gray

The advantage of studying anatomy from foreign books like this is the fact that the diagrams given here are of much better quality than that of its Indian counterparts. The entire learning here takes a more pictorial approach.

Hope you find it helpful

let me know in the comment box if you are having any further doubts

thanks

Good Luck!
