Physiotherapy
Hello,
If you're wondering whether counselling has started for physiotherapy (BPT/B.P.T.) admissions through NEET 2025,. While MBBS/BDS counselling begins via MCC from July 21, 2025 , allied health courses like physiotherapy are handled differently usually by state paramedical or allied health authorities, not MCC.In many states, Paramedical Counselling for NEET-based BPT starts just a few weeks after NEET results are announced . Often, these processes begin in July–August 2025, depending on the state board's timeline.
Here’s What You Should Do Now:
1. First check your state’s counselling portal: Search for <State Name> paramedical NEET counselling 2025. This is where BPT seats are listed.
2. Look for registration and seat matrix updates. You will need to upload you NEET 2025 score card , and your PCB marksheet, and other education proofs.
3. Apply within the deadline, fill in your preferred colleges and courses, and pay the counselling fee.
4. Monitor later rounds or stray vacancy seats. Some states or institutes allow spot admissions if seats aren’t filled in the initial rounds.
Even if you're late, some private colleges include BPT as part of management or vacant seat rounds you can check there.Always download the seat matrix it helps you predict which colleges you can target with your NEET score.Keep your documents and category certificates ready. They usually require timely upload for document verification.
All the best for you admission!
Hello student,
Several physiotherapy colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana offer Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degrees, and some utilize the EAPCET (Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test) for admissions:

Thank you!!
Indeed, IMS BHU (Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University) provides a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) course. The program is a 4 year full-time course along with a 6 month internship, featuring a total of 25 seats designated for different categories, General, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS, all sanctioned under BHU’s guidelines. Entry into this course relies on the CUET UG exam rather than NEET, and the overall tuition cost for the complete BPT program is roughly Rs 72,056.
You may not see it categorized under NEET related programs on the IMS BHU website because BPT is regulated by CUET UG, while undergraduate medical/dental programs such as MBBS or BDS utilize NEET for admissions.
Hope this helps. All the best!
Yes, you can get admission in Physiotherapy (BPT) or BSc Radiology and Imaging Technology through your MHT CET PCB score. Many private and some government colleges in Maharashtra accept PCB scores for these courses.
If your score is around 89 percentile or higher, you have a good chance of getting into a decent physiotherapy or radiology college. Admissions are done through the state counselling process known as CAP counselling.
For BSc Radiology also, colleges consider your MHT CET PCB score along with your board marks. You just need to meet the eligibility criteria set by the colleges.
Since there is often competition, it is doubtful that you would be accepted into a government college in Solapur or any place else in Maharashtra with two 211 NEET scores for a BPT seat. Private college could provide you a better opportunity, but the costs would be significantly greater.
There are also entrance exams for BPT in Maharashtra. You can apply to The Maharashtra Comman Entrance Test (MHT CET) or you can explore in private colleges which also accepted in lower cutoffs.
We recommend you to consider career360 NEET college predictor. Link given below:

Hello Aspirant,
Obtaining admission in Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) in Solapur is possible with 211 marks in NEET, specifically through management quota or private medical colleges. Admission into government seats will be a challenge as the competition is tougher but the cut-off may differ each year to their favour. However, it would be prudent to check with respective colleges in Solapur like Ashwini Rural Medical College or DMMC Solapur for their admission process and cut-off trends.
With 211 marks in NEET it might be a little hard to get a seat for physiotherapy in Solapur because most students who get in usually have a bit higher marks But do not feel sad because sometimes there are special seats or other colleges that may take you You can also try for management seats or look at different places where the cut off is a bit lower Just keep trying and do not give up you will find a good college soon .
The NEET 2025 qualifying cutoff for EWS candidates is between 686–144 marks (50th percentile) .
For BPT admission, although specific college cutoffs vary, the minimum qualifying marks for EWS remain the same range. Each college/state may have its own closing marks, usually slightly above the qualifying threshold for government vs private seats.
