yes you can get physiotherapy course without an entrance exam especially for Bachelor of Physiotheraphy (BPT) programs like you can opt for private colleges and deemed universities. Admission is usually based on class 12 marks
examples:
1. Manipal Academy of Higher Education (Manipal)
2. DY Patil University
3. SRM University (Chennai)
4. Sharda University(Greater Noida)
5. Amity University (Noida, Kolkata, etc)
- you can even apply some states colleges
- you can apply for management quota.
hope it helps!
thanks
best of luck
For SIA Physiotherapy College, the 2024 expected closing rank is around 550,000 (NEET rank). If your rank is below 550k, you have a good chance of admission in the state quota. Higher ranks may still be considered under the management quota.
No, Bachelor of Physiotherapy admission in Maharashtra is not done through MHT-CET .
Instead, BPT admissions are conducted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) based on NEET-UG scores , as per the Maharashtra State CET Cell guidelines.
If you want admission in a Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT) course, there are two main ways it usually happens. Some colleges and states require a valid NEET score, while others offer admission based on your Class 12 marks in the Science stream, particularly in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
You should first check whether your state conducts centralized counselling for BPT through a paramedical or health sciences university. If yes, you need to register for that counselling process. If not, then you can directly apply to private colleges that offer BPT, as many of them accept students without NEET, based purely on merit in the qualifying exam.
Keep an eye on the official websites of colleges and universities that offer BPT, and apply as soon as they release their admission forms. Make sure you have your Class 12 mark sheet, transfer certificate, and other basic documents ready.
If your marks in Biology and overall percentage are decent, you have a good chance of getting admission.
All the best!
Dear Candidate , - There is no dedicated online BPT application form ; admission is via NEET merit and state counselling ( CAP ). - Post counselling , contact the college for management quota seats if vacancies exist . - After your selection , register on MUHS portal and submit necessary documents .

HELLO,
In Maharashtra , NEET is not always mandatory for Bachelor of Physiotherapy admissions, but it is increasingly becoming a requirements for some government colleges and institutions that offer BPT programs
Some private colleges may offer admission based on Merit list in Class 12th or through their own entrance exams
You can check Individual college websites - there you can check the admission criteria of the specific college you are interested in
Some colleges offer direct admission based on merit meaning your class 12 marks will be the primary and important factor.
Hope that Helps!
