I have finished diploma in information technology on 2011.Now i am working till now as Accounts Executive. So now i am planning to do any degree course. Please suggest what course i can do.

Divyanshi Priya 18th Mar, 2025

Hello there,

With the knowledge of both Information Technology diploma education and multiple years of accounts executive work experience fits you for roles that require technical and financial abilities. Choice of bachelor degrees for obtaining best career opportunities will depend on your specific educational background.

  • You can obtain the BBA in Finance or Accounting because your accounting experience leads to positions as Financial Analyst and Investment Banker and eventually CFO.
  • The Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) in Accounting & Finance enables students to pursue careers either as tax auditors or becoming both Certified Management Accountants (CMA) and Chartered Accountants (CA).
  • Students who wish to return to the IT field can pursue BCA or B.Sc. IT programs to qualify for positions such as Software Developer, Data Analyst and Cybersecurity Specialist. The employment field of technology typically leads to stronger monetary opportunities.
  • The combination of work experience in accounts along with IT knowledge makes BBA in Business Analytics or Data Science an ideal choice. Data Analyst roles along with Business Intelligence Manager positions demonstrate high demand because this field continues growing rapidly.

B.Sc. IT along with BCA and Business Analytics degrees represent excellent choices for students seeking jobs with high-paying salaries. BBA Finance together with B. Com combined with extra certifications would be suitable for those who choose finance as their preferred field.

Hope this will help!

I am planning to do my bachelors in germany, after 13 years of schooling in india. After 12th, I have recently completed one years of online BCA degree from Shoolini University, I am now going to apply for APS. Will this online degree valid for APS ?.

Divyanshi Priya 12th Mar, 2025

Hello!

You are planning to enroll in bachelor studies at Germany following twelve years of school and an additional one year of B.C.A. online courses at Shoolini University in India. You need to apply for Academic Evaluation Centre (APS) certification but you doubt whether an online degree will be accepted here.

Key Points to Consider:

1. German University Admission Requirements:

German universities demand students to possess the Abitur certificate which students earn at the end of secondary school after completing either 12 or 13 years of education.

All international students must obtain a qualification that corresponds to the German Abitur. Many education institutions do not accept students with just 12 years of post-GCSE education as equivalent to a German Abitur certificate and might need supplementary qualifications and exams assessments.

2. APS Certification:

As part of their functions the APS carries out document and qualification verification services for students from India and other select nations who want to study in Germany. The main function of the APS centers on authenticating academic documents regardless of the education delivery method which can be either online or in-person.

3. Recognition of Online Degrees:

Different German educational institutions follow various approaches to acknowledge online academic credentials. Specific universities allow admission of web-based qualifications as other institutions doubt their validity. You need to verify how particular universities handle online learning through direct communication.

Recommendations:

You must contact APS for verification regarding the suitability of your Shoolini University online B.C.A. year as a qualification for APS certification.

Make contact with the acceptance offices of German universities where you plan to enroll. The entry requirements of universities become clear through discussions with them because they will specify what you need along with your qualifications to meet program admission standards.

Enough evidence shows that your current qualification level falls short of German entry requirements so you need to conduct additional qualifications through studies or preparatory courses.

Career Planning: How do I decide which career path to pursue after college? What are the most in-demand careers in my field of study? How can I build my resume while still in college to improve my job prospects? Is it better to take up internships during college or focus solely on academics?

Prachi Kumari 12th Mar, 2025

Hey Vanshika !

Deciding a career path requires understanding your interests, researching job trends, and gaining practical experience. The most in-demand careers depend on your field, so staying updated on industry trends is important.

To build a strong resume , focus on internships, certifications, projects, and networking. Balancing academics and internships is ideal, as both contribute to career success. Prioritize time management to make the most of both opportunities.

Hope it helps !

What advice would you offer current students on balancing academic responsibilities with the career planning?

Prachi Kumari 12th Mar, 2025

Hey Arushi !

Balancing studies and career planning can feel tough, but with the right approach, you can manage both easily.

First, focus on your studies because good grades matter, but don’t ignore career planning. Try to make a simple schedule where you set time for studying and also for exploring career options. Use your free time wisely—maybe on weekends or after studies, you can research jobs, build skills, or apply for internships.

Gaining experience through internships or part-time work can really help. Also, don’t hesitate to ask teachers or career counsellors for guidance.

Keep learning new skills that can help in your future job. Stay organized, so you don’t miss important deadlines for exams or job applications. Most importantly, don’t stress too much—take breaks, relax, and take care of yourself.

With a little planning, you can do well in both academics and career preparation.

ALL THE BEST  !

b. planning also have advance exam

Prachi Kumari 25th Feb, 2025

Hello,

No, JEE Advanced is not required for B.Planning. Key points:

  1. JEE Main Paper 2B (B.Planning) is the only required exam for B.Planning admissions in most institutes.
  2. JEE Advanced is for B.Tech/B.E. and some B.Arch programs (like IIT Roorkee & IIT BHU for Architecture).
  3. IITs do not offer B.Planning programs, so JEE Advanced is unnecessary.
  4. NITs, SPAs, and other universities admit students based on JEE Main Paper 2B scores.
  5. No further JEE Advanced exam is conducted after JEE Main Paper 2B for B.Planning aspirants.

Hope you find it useful !
