b. planning also have advance exam

Prachi Kumari 25th Feb, 2025

Hello,

No, JEE Advanced is not required for B.Planning. Key points:

  1. JEE Main Paper 2B (B.Planning) is the only required exam for B.Planning admissions in most institutes.
  2. JEE Advanced is for B.Tech/B.E. and some B.Arch programs (like IIT Roorkee & IIT BHU for Architecture).
  3. IITs do not offer B.Planning programs, so JEE Advanced is unnecessary.
  4. NITs, SPAs, and other universities admit students based on JEE Main Paper 2B scores.
  5. No further JEE Advanced exam is conducted after JEE Main Paper 2B for B.Planning aspirants.

Hope you find it useful !

Hi my nta score is 90.1 in b.planning ..can I get seat in nit

Ankit 25th Feb, 2025

Your chances of getting a seat in an NIT for B.Planning with a 90.1 NTA score depend on factors like category, home state quota, and cutoff trends. Generally, NIT cutoffs for B.Planning vary yearly, and top NITs may require higher scores. If you belong to the general category, securing a seat in top NITs might be tough, but you may have a chance in lower-ranked NITs or through home state quota. Keep an eye on JoSAA counseling and cutoff trends for better clarity. You can also explore state-level colleges or private institutions offering B.Planning.

i got 89 percentile in b planning can i got seat

Mitali Sharma 25th Feb, 2025

Hello

Your chances of getting a seat in B. Planning depend on factors like:

1. Category & Reservation – Your category (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS etc.) plays a big role in cutoffs.

2. State Quota & Home State Preference – If you apply to a college in your home state , you may get a benefit under state quota.

3. Colleges You Are Targeting – Top NITs and SPAs (School of Planning and Architecture) have higher cutoffs , while lower-ranked colleges might have more relaxed criteria.

4. Previous Year Cutoffs – Comparing your percentile with past cutoffs can give a better idea of your chances.

If you belong to General (UR) category getting a seat in SPAs or top NITs may be difficult . However, you might get a seat in lower-ranked NITs, IIITs or state government/private colleges offering B.Planning.

Hope this gives you the clarity you need.

I took a DNB seat in 2022 neet pg counselling. I resigned my DNB course in 2023. Now, Im planning to write neet pg 2025. Can I attend the 2025 counselling or else will I get debarred from attending it. I heard that I cannot take DNB seat again. If it so, can I take MD/MS seat?

Prachi Kumari 19th Feb, 2025

Hello,

Resigning from a DNB course may impact your eligibility for future admissions. Key points to consider:

  • Debarment Period : Candidates who resign from a DNB seat are often debarred from participating in DNB counselling for the next three years.

  • MD/MS Eligibility : Generally, resigning from a DNB course does not affect eligibility for MD/MS courses. You should be able to participate in NEET PG 2025 counselling for MD/MS seats , provided you meet all other eligibility criteria.

  • State Counselling Participation : Eligibility to participate in state counselling processes may vary. Some states allow candidates who have resigned from DNB courses to participate, while others may have restrictions. It's essential to consult the specific state's counselling guidelines.

  • Financial Implications : Resigning from a DNB seat may involve financial penalties, such as forfeiture of fees or bond amounts. Review the terms of your admission letter or bond agreement to understand any financial obligations.

Hope you find it useful !

hello. if i complete my 12th board through board of open schooling and skill education (BOSSE) will i be eligible to apply for universities abroad?? im planning to apply for a scholarship called GKS (global korea scholarship)

kumardurgesh1802 21st Jan, 2025

Hello there,

Yes, completing your 12th board through the Board of Open Schooling and Skill Education (BOSSE) makes you eligible to apply for universities abroad, including scholarships like the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) , provided you meet their specific requirements. Here's what to keep in mind:

1. International Recognition of BOSSE :

  • BOSSE is a recognized open schooling board in India, and its certificates are valid for higher education in India and abroad.

  • Ensure that the board is accredited by relevant authorities (like the NIOS equivalent) and recognized internationally.

    2. Eligibility for GKS :

  • GKS primarily focuses on academic performance (your 12th grade scores) and other criteria like a personal statement, recommendation letters, and English or Korean language proficiency (TOPIK, IELTS/TOEFL).

  • As long as BOSSE is recognized, your application should be considered valid.

    3. Documents Verification :

  • Ensure you have all necessary documents authenticated (e.g., mark sheets, certificates).

  • Apostille your certificates if required by the scholarship or university.

    4. Contact Authorities :

  • Check directly with GKS or the universities you’re applying to for any specific restrictions regarding open school certificates.

If BOSSE is accredited and your scores meet the eligibility, you should have no issues applying for GKS or other international scholarships.
