I have got polymer in ICT,Mumbai and Mechanical at AIT,Pune.which one should I choose?

Abhishek Roy 21st May, 2021

I would suggest you to pursue Mechanical from AIT Pune, which has certainly much higher career scope and placement prospects than Polymer at ICT Mumbai. Being located near Industrial and Manufacturing Hubs of Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad, provide huge scope and impetus to training and placements besides providing effective engineering education.

On the other hand, ICT Mumbai is perhaps the best State Engineering College with VJTI and COEP, after Central Institutes VNIT and IITB. Incase you are interested in pursuing a MS/PhD or Research in future, in that case you may prefer Polymer at ICT Mumbai over AIT Pune Mechanical, otherwise, going by Placements and future career and industry prospects, AIT Pune is a much better option.

Pankhuri Kumari 14th Mar, 2021
Hii!
The eligibility criteria for MSC in polymer chemistry states that the candidate must have completed graduation in any relevant subject such as chemistry, mathematics, physics, etc., with minimum 50% marks from a recognised university. However the eligibility criteria may change slightly for different colleges and universities. So, you must check accordingly before applying.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

plastic and Polymer diploma can change to Automobile BE

harshitasharansrivastava Student Expert 20th Jan, 2021

Hello Dear,

You can only change your branch after first year every university and college provides the option of “branch change”, so that if any doubt still prevails in the mind of a student after taking admission in first year, he/she can then change his/her respective branch in second year. But, there are certain criterion which you have to be fulfilled.

1- Your CGPA must be at-least 8.5 or above in 10 scale. (This is most vital but it varies from university to university)

2- You must have no backlogs in your 1st year.

Good Luck

can i do chemical engineering plastic and polymer in bit mesra . is this good collage for to gov job. plz suggest me.

Karam Vir 25th Nov, 2020

Hi,

BIT Mesra is indeed a very good college to join for the bachelor's program. It rank at the 38th position in engineering colleges over India and offers very good placements and packages. Getting into an institute, will not give you any government job. For doing a government job, you need to appear for certain procedures which do not see the institute in which you have studied. However, companies provide a good salary package if you join a good institute and it also depends upon the placement cell of that institute.
