sir 169 marks sc candidat keya Gov/private college mil jayega

piyush263001 10th Nov, 2021

Hello,

NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

Marks wise cut off is as following-

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs have increased compared to last year.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.

Now With Marks you are scoring in NEET Examination, it would be very difficult for you to get MBBS in government and private medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Though you can try getting admit in deemed Universities. Here are two deemed university you can apply for MBBS-

• Sri Lakshmi Narayana Inst. of Med. Scien., Puducherry:- 152 marks

• Meenakshi Medical College Host. and Res. Inst., Chennai:- 169 marks

If there any impact on private college State quota seats in West Bengal for new All India counselling rule?

monstwerdash 20th Dec, 2021

Hello there ,

Hope you are doing well.

As per the new guideline given to MCC by the Supreme court, the All India Counselling for NEET is to occur in 4 rounds . Earlier , there used to be only 2 rounds to fill the 15% seats of the state government medical colleges and all the seats of the central institutes like AIIMS. After the 2 rounds, whatever seats were left under the 15% state government quota were then transferred to the state counselling authorities to filled through the state quota counselling.

This new guideline will mostly benefit the students of the states where cutoffs usually go high like Delhi ,Bihar, Rajasthan etc. , sometimes even higher than the All India cutoff for a government medical college. So, these students will be able to get a seat through the All India Counselling in some other state if the cutoff of their own state is very high .

Also,it will be made sure that almost none of the 15% seats are left to be filled by AIQ.So, there's very less probability that any seats will be transferred to the state after AIQ.

So,it can be concluded that the All India Quota cutoff for a government medical college will be lower ,on the other hand the state quota cutoffs may increase a bit than usual ,as of now. This applies to most of the states including West Bengal and yes the cutoff scores for private medical colleges is also supposed to increase as overall cutoff will increase through the state quota.

You are advised to wait for the Counselling process to commence and only then will we be able to know the exact cut-offs and how this new guideline will affect the cutoffs .

You can keep visiting the official website of MCC for further updates,

https://www.mcc.nic.in/#/home

Hope my answer helped.

I m from Uttar Pradesh & belong to general category. I got 210 marks , ls there any chances to get a good private college seat b/w the range of 10 lakhs -15 lakhs per annum in Uttar Pradesh only ?

ADRIKA mONDAL 11th Jan, 2022

Hi,

With the marks of 210 in NEET and also belonging to the general category , the chances of getting a seat in the government medical college is very difficult enough. Rather you may try for private medical colleges also through the management quota seats which might be quite possible. The private medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh may include-

Sri Rammurti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly Annual Fee (INR) 1272000

Muzaffarnagar Medical College, Muzaffarnagar Annual Fee (INR) 1231000

Rohilkhand Medical College & Hospital, Bareilly Annual Fee (INR) 1226000

Hello aspirant,

On the basis of previous year cutoffs trend, at your rank you have chances to get admission in some private medical colleges under state quota. Some of the colleges are as follow:

  • Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Amritsar
  • Adesh Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Bathinda

But remember that cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted exam and number of students participated in counselling, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more. mere nwet me 98 marks aaye h kya bams private college me admission ho jygaa

Yaseera Bhombal 8th Nov, 2021

Hello,

I am extremely sorry I couldnt get. I'm assuming that the 98 marks are your NEET score if not please specify. You haven't mentioned any category, I am providing the cut off score for each category below

Category NEET 2021 cutoff NEET cut-off marks
General 50th percentile 720-138
SC/ST/OBC 40th percentile 137-108
General-PwD 45th percentile 137-122
SC/ST/OBC-PwD 40th percentile 121-108

Looking at the cut-off values, it would be a bit difficult to get admitted into a private college  for BAMS course.

I would suggest  you to use the following link to predict your rank based on your score

Also use the link below to check your chances of getting admitted into a college in the branch of your choice
