Hii ,can I leave the bds seat allotted in AIQ counselling and join the mbbs private college management quota in my own state ,should we pay all the fees for the bds college?

rajeevanand843 13th Nov, 2021

Dear aspirant

NEET counseling process is quite complicated and it's need to be done very carefully.

As your query is about AIQ counseling so first round of AIQ counseling have free exit, if you get a seat allotted and you don't want to take admission you can surrender seat and exit from counseling also if you took admission then also there is date of surrendering seat. If you do within limit date then no problem but after that you might have pay Full.

Now if I talk about round two then there is no free exit if you participate in counseling and get seat allotted then you will have to take admission or either forfeit (loose) your security deposit. And once you took admission you can't surrender also so you will have to pay the bond amount you signed for or whole course fees.

So always be sure then only take admission in any college.

You can use NEET UG college predictor tool for knowing chances of getting MBBS BDS ayush colleges at your expected marks.

sir my neet score is 83 so can i apply for mbbs private college ?

Kabita 11th Nov, 2021

No dear you can't apply for any private or government MBBS college. Your mark is very low. The minimum marks to get admission in good private college is 350+. You should aim for 500+ if you want a good private or medical college in all india Quota. Try to give the exam next year.

i have got 380 marks in neet with 4314 AIQ ranking under ST category, i want to try for Karnataka state Private college Private seat (High fee Rs.10L per year) is there any chance of getting seat. pl give me list of least fee DU medical colleges in Karnataka for BMMS, chances of getting.

ayushshrivastwa84 20th Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant,

As you have asked about getting medical college at 380 marks with max. fees of INR 10 lakhs/annum.

I want to inform you that there are not any college at this fees range but yes you are from ST category so your state might provide you scholarship depends upon your college that will you getting that scholarship or not for this you need to contact your alloted college before payment of the fees after counselling.

if you get scholar ship then you won't have to pay the fees.

But i want to inform you that at this marks you won't be getting any medical college as in private MBBS cutoff in karnataka was

  • SC cutoff MBBS Karnataka-: 410 marks Shridevi institute of medical sciences and research hospital, Tumkur.

Hopefully i have cleared your doubt.

I got 448 with AIR 132000 in NEET UG 2021. I belong to OBC category (Andhra Pradesh). can I get a seat in government or private medical college anywhere? if yes, what would be the fee range?

Sumedha Bhattacharya 11th Nov, 2021

Dear Student ,

As per your NEET UG marks and in OBC category that you have mentioned , you have less chances to get any Govt or private medical colleges in AP for MBBS degree. Based on last year cut off trends , 502 was the lowest marks approved by Viswabharathi Medical College and General Hospital, Kurnool .

Well, you may get the following Dental Colleges through Govt quota as per last year cut off :

  • Anil Neerukonda Institute of Dental Sciences, Vishakapatnam (Fees- 46.3 K total for 5 years)
  • KLRs Lenora Institute of Dental Sciences, Rajanagarm

You can check the above details from this link too:

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-ap

Well, the above prediction can't give you 100% accuracy as the cut off can change each and every year due to some unavoidable factors :

  1. Seat availability
  2. No of students attend the exam
  3. Ques difficulty level etc.

You can also use this NEET college predictor link to geta customized report about the colleges in which you may get through your rank:
