Hii Isha,
Hope you are doing well.
Yes, it is said by the government that 50% fees is reimbursed for some category students.
open EWS and obc students get 50% of the tuition fees back.
Even sc, st, get their fees reimbursed in the form of some scholarships.
Also, you can get 100% scholarships if your score is good enough and your number is amongst the top of the merit list. The latest rule that the government is implementing is that, If the annual income of your family is less than or equal to Rs. 6 lakh and the percentage is above 60 in class 12th, you can also get 100% concession on your fees.
So, this will clear your query, hopefully.
BEST wishes ahead.
Hi,
With this Rank, it is difficult to get into NITs or IIITs. I would suggest you to go for GFTIs in JoSAA Councelling. You could get core branches in some GFTIs if closing rank remains lower than previous year. I would suggest you to go for MP DTE Councelling to get admissions into Government Engineering colleges in MP. You could get colleges like Rewa Engineering College, Jabalpur Engineering college in that councelling.
In order to know what branches you could get , you should use this tool: JEE Mains College Predictor
Thanks!!!
Hi
It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get seat or not as cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like
********** number of students that appeared in the exam,
********** kind of marks obtained by them ,
********** toughness level of the examination,
********** number of seats available etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend
>>>>>>> with 402 marks
you hold a low chance to get a Government Medical College for mbbs or even for Government quota MBBS seat in a private medical college
For example,
In neet 2019 , 426 marks for obc category was cut off / lowest marks to get mbbs seat in a government medical college under Karnataka state quota and it was for Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences, MADIKERI.
Even chances for Government quota seat in private medical colleges is low as in 2019 , 408 marks was the lowest marks to get Government quota MBBS seat in private medical college in Karnataka State quota for OBC category and it was for Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College, Kalaburg
You can check the same at
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-karnataka/amp
You have chances in deemed universities for mbbs which are listed below along with their neet 2020 , 2nd round cut off :-
-----------) B.L.D.E University, Bijapur:- 387 marks
----------) MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai:- 380 marks
----------) Institute of Medical Sciences and SUMH, Bhubaneswar:-360 marks
----------) Sri Siddhartha Medical College DU, T Begur:- 328 marks
----------) BVDU Medical College and Hospital, Sangli:- 311 marks
And a few more
Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but cutoff keeps every year changing depending upon many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the college in which you have chances and
to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at
It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling
Thankyou
What's your percentile?
Anyway,
>>>>>>> With 81 marks, your percentile would be roughly round 29-30 percentile, if not do let me know.
Your cannot any medical/dental college be it government or private .
This is because,
In order to be eligible for getting admission in MBBS ,BDS, BAMS, BHMS etc even in private colleges or anywhere you must qualify Neet examination
But with your percentile you have failed to qualify neet as
Neet qualifying cutoff percentile is :-
----------) General category :- 50 percentile
----------) OBC/ SC /ST :- 40 percentile
----------) UR- Ph :- 45 percentile
For detailed information, visit
Now that,
