Can I get bams seat for 237 marks in neet under state quota of Karnataka and obc 2b category in private college as govt seat

ijazumar16 6th Nov, 2021

Greetings Aspirant,

I hope you are doing well. I see that you have scored 237 marks in your NEET examination. Sorry to say it would be difficult for you to get a government seat for BAMS, anyways you could get a seat in private colleges in Karnataka. BAMS( Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) is a course that provides complete knowledge about 'Ashtanga Ayurveda' along with scientific advances in modern medicine along with extensive practical training. It's a 5.5 years course with 6 moths of intership.

These are the following private colleges where you could apply for BAMS in Karnataka.

1. JSS Ayurveda Medical College, Mysore, Karnataka.

2. Alva's Ayurveda Medical College Science and Research Hospital, Banglore, Karnataka.

3. Dhanvantari Ayurveda College Hospital and Research centre, Siddapur, Karnataka.

4. Ramakrishna Ayurvedic Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Bangalore, Karnataka.

5. AVS Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Bijapur, Karnataka.

6. BVVS Ayurveda Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Bagalkot, Karnataka.

7. DGM Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Gadag, Karnataka.

Hello,

You haven't mentioned your category, hence assuming it to be general, if we go through last year cut-offs under state quota for UR, then you may have chances for the following private medical colleges:

  • KD Medical College Hospital and Research Center, Mathura

  • Mayo Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki
  • Eras Lucknow Medical College and Hospital, Lucknow
  • Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences, Gautam Budh Nagar

  • Rajshree Medical Research Institute, Bareilly
  • Rama Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Hapur
  • Teerthanker Mahaveer Medical College and Research Center, Moradabad
  • TS Misra Medical College and Hospital, Lucknow

However this is completely based on previous year data, and cut-offs vary every year based on various factors such as

  • seat matrix
  • total number of candidates appearing for the examination
  • resevation
  • difficulty level of the paper etc,

after completing bhms degree in private college what salary can I expect?? will private college give salary to internal or after md!?? plz tell something I mean we are giving huge amount of fee like 10-20 lakh in bhms private cllg if they are not giving you salary then what the need to study?

Mansi Bhatt 2nd Dec, 2021

Hello!

Although there is no set wage for a homoeopathic doctor in India, I will attempt to discuss several areas and their salaries in the Homoeopathy community.

  • Practice- In an urban setting, the practise may earn anything from 30,000 to 2,50,000 per month.
  • Joining a hospital- Many hospitals hire Homoeopathic consultants and compensate them based on the number of patients visited. Again, this varies according to experience.
  • Joining a company- Given that you must have completed an M.D. In pharmacy or medicine, you can enter the business sector as a pharmacist or a manager in a multinational corporation (MNC). As a beginning wage, these doctors are paid a high income of roughly 40–50k per month.
  • Job as a government doctor- MD graduates have the possibility to work as government physicians after passing the appropriate tests. "However, this opportunity is only available in a few states across India" (e.g. Kerala, Delhi etc.). As a result, it's a good idea to check to see if your state has this. The initial compensation is roughly 30,000 all-in. As a teacher- one of the most profitable departments, the minimum compensation in private colleges is approximately 30k, and for HOD's it may go up to 1 lakh pm.

I hope this was helpful!

my daughter got Air 63k in neet 2021 and we are from general category karnataka. possibilities to get government seat in private college in bangalore?

piyush263001 3rd Nov, 2021

Hello,

NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

Marks wise cut off is as following-

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs have increased compared to last year.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.

It would have been helpful for us to answer more precisely had you mentioned your marks instead of rank, as college cut off is decided on the bais of marks and not ranks. With 63K rank, I expect you are scoring around 528 marks. So here is a list of few colleges that you can get admission in -

• Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College, Bangalore

• Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore

• M.S.Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore

• Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeswara Medical College, Mysore

• Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences, Mandya

• Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences, Hassan

• Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum

• Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences, Belgaum

• Kasturba Medical College, Hampanakatta,Mangalore

university or private college which is better for doing mpharmacy and selection of which subject is good in mpharmacy

piyush263001 3rd Dec, 2021

Hello,

There are many colleges in India that offer Masters degree in Pharmacy or M Pharma.

So it would be better if you choose a Government College to pursue your Masters degree in Pharma i nstead of a private college as fees for government colleges are less compared to private colleges.

Also if you wish to join a private Pharmacy college then there are various factors that will govern your decision such as college near your home or college that has less fees, college that is reputed and various other factors.

Given Below is a link for all the Colleges allover India that offer degree in Pharmacy. You can choose a college accordingly.
