I am getting 321 in neet 2021 from foreign quota can I get admission in any private medical college and what will be the cost for the course

Karishma Sawhney 15th Dec, 2021

Hi aspirant. Yes, you'll be able to easily get admission in any private medical college as the cut off for NRI quota usually goes very low. Also, many seats go vacant too.

Many medical colleges in some states such as Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana also have NRI quota in government medical colleges. However, you need to score 400+ to get a seat.

States such as West Bengal, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh have NRI quota only in private medical colleges. All deemed universities have 15% reservation for NRI candidates.

List of colleges in Tamil Nadu with cut off- ( Fee structure- 23 lakh p/a)

  1. Karpaga Medical College, coimbatore- 272
  2. Velam Medical College- 126
  3. Sree moogambigai medical college- 165

List of deemed medical colleges ( Fee structure ranges from 20 lakh to 30 lakh per annum). The cut off for these colleges in NRI quota is usually 150-300 marks.

  1. SRM Medical College
  2. DY Patil Medical College, Kolhapur
  3. Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Wardha
  4. BLDE Medical College, Bijapur
  5. Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore

You can easily get admission in any deemed university with these marks. However, your budget should be around 25 lakh per annum.

Hope it helps.

Sir , my rank in All Kerala Neet entrance exam is 10,125. I am from Thrissur,Kerala and I include in OBC Ncl category. Is there any chance that I can get a seat in Thrissur private medical college ?

Anurag Khanna 14th Dec, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

It is quite difficult to make any accurate prediction of your admission chances in any particular college because the cut-off keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors such as :-

*** number of candidates appeared in NEET 2021

*** difficulty level of the paper

*** top score for NEET 2021

*** total number of seats available for admission and so on.

But we can help you on the basis of previous years cut-offs, by analyzing data of previous years we can guide you upto some sort of your admission chances in Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute, Thrissur.

So if we go through previous years cut-offs then according to that, you have very low chances of getting Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute, Thrissur on such marks and category.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

NEET 2021 Cutoff Kerala - Check Kerala MBBS/BDS cutoff here (careers360.com)

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

I am student who has christian minority resevervation with a neet score of 338. Will I be able to get admission in Karnataka Private Medical College. Am also a non-domicile

skanditac 14th Dec, 2021

Yes, your NEET scores are sufficient enough to get admission in Karnataka Private Medical College. The cut off score for Christian minority is 146 - 133. So, you have fair chances of getting admission over there. Talking about you being a non - domicile, friend Karnataka comes under one of those states which allows non - domicile candidate to take admission in reputed private medical colleges.

Hope it helps!!!!!

Is caste reservation applied for private medical college of karnataka for the other state students who dont have domicile of karnataka?

Akshant Prakash 14th Dec, 2021

Hello candidate,

There are two types of reservation, one for domicile and one for the reserved caste category. And since we are talking in general, obviously the caste certificate would be valid anywhere in Karnataka even without having the domicile for that particular state.

Thankyou!

ADRIKA mONDAL 14th Dec, 2021

Hello,

In accordance to your NEET marks which is 288 and all India ranking which is 367625 and also belonging to a general category , your probability of getting a seat in government medical college for any of the courses is quite next to impossible. Rather you may try to opt for private medical colleges also through management quota. The private medical colleges in Haryana may include-

Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Gurgaon

Maharaja Agrasen Medical College, Agroha   Fees: 975,200

Maharishi Markandeshwar Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Mullana Fees: 8,308,300

Faculty of Dental Sciences, PDM University, Bahadurgarh ( BDS) Fees: 1,104,200
