I secured 185 in NEET 2021. What are the chances of getting private medical college in UP or MP and list there names.

ADRIKA mONDAL 9th Dec, 2021

Hi,

With the marks of 185 in NEET 2021, the corresponding expected rank would be 639955 - 668399 . With this marks as well as rank getting a government seat is not at all possible. So there are chances for your admission in private  medical colleges through management quota. The private medical colleges in U.P may include-

IIMSR Lucknow - Integral Institute of Medical Sciences and Research

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Subharti Medical College, Meerut

School of Medical Sciences and Research, Greater Noida

The list of private colleges in MP

LN Medical College and JK Hospital, Bhopal

RD Gardi Medical College, Ujjain

Further you can use NEET College Predictor tool to check your other chances for MBBS, BDS & Ayush Courses

i got 121 marks in pcb nd i belong to obc category ,i have got 164 marks in neet,is there any chance to get bams private medical college in uttar pradesh??

Aniket Das 8th Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant,

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks/rank for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc. As you mention with 164 marks and from OBC category you have low chance to get seat in private college in UP.

is there any reservations (sc st obc) in gov quota of private medical college?

divyajha1702 7th Dec, 2021

Hii

The decision on seat reservation of NEET 2021 will benefit nearly 1,500 OBC and 550 EWS candidates. Earlier the NEET-UG reservations for OBC and EWS were provided to central universities. Now, the reservation will be provided to state medical and dental colleges under All India scheme. Candidates must note that the NEET reservation criteria 2021 is directed under reservation guidelines of the Government of India (GOI). Besides EWS and OBC, 15% seats for Scheduled Caste (SC) and 7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribe (ST). Medical aspirants must fill their reservation criteria of NEET-UG while registering for NEET 2021 admissions

NEET Reservation Criteria 2021: EWS, OBC, PWD, SC, ST & Others

In every state, 85% of seats are reserved under State Quota candidates and NEET 2021 reservation criteria for them is decided by the concerned state authorities. NEET is the single undergraduate national-level medical entrance examination that was conducted on September 12 for admission to 83,075 MBBS and 26,949 BDS seats offered in the medical-dental colleges of India. For more details on the reservation criteria of NEET, candidates are advised to refer to the articles that follow

NEET Reservation Criteria 2021

As per the latest update, NEET 2021 reservation criteria will be provided to 27% OBC and 10% EWS categories. Out of total seats in all government MBBS/BDS colleges, 15% will be reserved for All India Quota (AIQ) seats. The seats under the 15% AIQ scheme will be allotted through NEET-UG reservation criteria. Earlier, the Supreme Court introduced NEET reservation to 15% seats for SC and 7.5% seats for ST categories. While, the 27% OBC reservation for NEET admissions were implemented in Central universities only. However, it was not extended to AIQ seats of state MBBS and BDS colleges.

All the best.
