Myself Shaniya Khan. My AIR in NEET 2021 is 467972. I belong to General Category. My General Rank is 145728. I am from Uttarakhand I am Muslim. I got 238 marks. please tell in which Deemed University or private medical college , I have a chance of admission in MBBS.

Prateek kumar 3rd Nov, 2021

Dear student,

To qualify NEET exam you have to score 50 percentile which is score more than 50% of the total students taking part in exam this mark ranges form 150-200 but it is not good at all. But you can still try for the private institutions and this might also prove to be a very task.

As for MBBS it is nearly impossible to get even a private college on these marks.

You can predict you college by clicking on this link.

I scored 405 marks in neet 2021 from obc(3b) category can I get private medical college under govt quota in Karnataka?

piyush263001 3rd Nov, 2021

Hello,

NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

Marks wise cut off is as following -

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs have increased compared to last year.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.

Hello with marks you are scoring it would be very difficult for you to get admission in private Medical Colleges in Karnataka too for MBBS admission. Though you can try getting seat in following colleges with 408 closing marks -

• BGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences, Kengeri, Bangalore

• Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College, Kalaburgi

• Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, MANGALORE.

For complete details about all the medical colleges in Karnataka their cut-offs, fees and other relevant information, kindly check out the link given below-

Since you haven't mentioned your category I would consider you as a General category candidate.

Also it would have been easier to answer had you mentioned you marks, as college cut offs are decided from marks scored and not rank. I expect you to be scoring around 560 marks. With your marks it would be very difficult for you to get admission in Government Medical College for MBBS admission. Though you can try in following colleges through All India Quota counseling-

• Amaltas Institute of Medical Sciences

• Chirayu Medical College Bhopal

• Index Medical College Indore

• L.N. Medical College, Bhopal

• People's College of Medical Sciences, Bhopal

• RD Gardi Medical College, Ujjain

• Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS), Indore

My neet 2021 score is 163 and i belongs to obc category from bihar .. please help me to find out college for me.. can i able to get admission in any private medical college?

darshita 2nd Nov, 2021

Hello,

To qualify you need 40% marks that is approx 300. But to reserve the seat for government college you have to secure almost 570 marks. But to get the good college you must have to secure 600 mark then you got your own choice of college in particular state.

Your score is quite low I can say either you work hard and given the test again or you can participate in state counselling for the same. In the meantime you can use the college prediction link to know some of the college you can get the admission.

Mghv 2nd Nov, 2021

Dear Vikas,

Yes, definitely you can go for another state college that is Gujarat. All you need is migration certificate from your previous passed class. Also, every college has its own set of rules and regulations. You can even enquire from the respective college as well regarding their rules for another state students.

Hope this helps.
