is there a chance of getting into private medical college(govt quota) with 445 marks in neet 2020 in telangana? i belong to general category.

Nandhini Student Expert 26th Oct, 2020

Hello student,

With a score of around 445 in the general category, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the private medical colleges under the state quota as the closing score there was around 436 for a rank of around 95,000 in the general category, when comparing the results of the past years.

Yet, ranks and scores vary each year depending on state quotas, difficulty level of the question paper and so on. However, you can also predict the colleges which you are likely to get using the below mentioned link:

what could be the expected minimum marks in neet 2020 to get into any private medical college (govt quota) in telangana for a bcb candidate?

anirudha vats 26th Oct, 2020

Hey,

I am answering the question thinking that you have the Telangana state domicile.

As per the last year cut off a minimum score of 430 or above may fetch you a government seat in any of the colleges of Telangana.

Few colleges I have mentioned below,

Apollo Inst of Medical Science

Bhaskar Medical College, Moinabad

Gandhi Medical College, Sikunderabad

Government Medical College, Mehboobnagar

and many more.

I have attached a link below

Refer to this link for Telangana Counseling 2019.

Hope that solves your concern.

Thank you.

Sir , I got 405 in NEET 2020 , which private medical college will get in Karnataka . my domicile is West Bengal , General Quota.

mjaisinghani62 26th Oct, 2020

Hello JDatta

As you have not mentioned your category, you will be considered as general category candidate.  With 405 neet score you have chances of getting Medical seat in following private colleges

KPC Medical College, Jadavpur

Shri Ram Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences and Sanaka hospitals, Durgapur

Haldia Institute of dental Sciences and research, Purba Medinipur

This was based on previous year's cut off. Cutoff changes every year and depends upon number of candidates appeared and qualified in exam, difficulty level of exam, previous year's cut off etc.

I am scoring 559 marks and have less chances of gmc ..I want to ask if I take addmission in private medical college will I be able to give exam next year even if I had taken addmission in mbbs in private college this year..will I be able to leave that college ?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 26th Oct, 2020
Hi

Your profile suggest that your domicile state is Punjab

You have not mentioned the category you belong to, so I am assuming you from general category

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get seat or not as cut off marks/rank for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 559 marks, you hold a chance to get a seat in a Government Medical College

For example,
in neet 2019, 518 marks for general category was the cut off marks to get a seat in Government Medical College under Punjab State quota and it was for Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot

You also have chances in following Government Medical College under State quota:-

*Government Medical College, Amritsar

.

*Government Medical College, Patiala

Now that,
you have chances for admission in Government Medical College you don't need worry thinking about admission in a private medical college , be optimistic.

But yes, just to answer your question , even if you take admission in a private medical college you are eligible for taking admission next year by qualifying Neet examination in any other Government Medical College

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but cutoff keeps changing depending upon many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a better picture of the college in which you have chances and
to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

is there any private medical college of fee 2-3 lac per annum ? i have 568 marks obc and UP domicile

chinchujoseph1993 26th Oct, 2020

Hello,

Hope you are doing good.

Coming to your question, I am sorry to say that there aren’t any private colleges in UP having a fee structure in the range that you are comfortable with. Private colleges are really expensive, and on average most of the colleges charge 11 lakhs per annum.

I suggest that you try for Government colleges or for BDS if you are interested in it. Also based on your score and the previous years cut off score it seems difficult to get into a Government college through the 85% state quota seats even with your Category quota.

But the cutoffs do vary every year and it depends upon the number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the question paper, total seats available. So do try even in colleges where the cutoff is more, but around your score.

To get an idea of previous years cutoff in UP colleges please refer the following site:

i got 188 marks in neet , can i get into a private medical college via managment seat in kerala ?

iammohdshareef 25th Oct, 2020

If you are going for management quota then you can get a seat with your marks. But make sure you are surely affordable  for management quota seats as the fee will be ×3 higher when compared to normal fees. Even then, Management quota seats are filled through State Counseling only. Though you did not mention your category, 188 marks is very less. After all the rounds of counselling are over and you do not get a seat, then there is an option of direct admission. But as mentioned, the fees is very hefty.  Or else  drop a year prepare hard and give a try in next year. Take a step wisely. By the way here I'm adding a college predictor link which will help you to find Colleges based on your marks
