I am from ap.Belongs lo sc.In neet 2020 expecting Marks 390.There is any chance get mbbs seat in govt or private medical college?

Anurag Khanna 20th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

See it is little bit difficult to predict exactly whether you get seat or not because different colleges have different cut-offs for State quota and All India Quota. Also, cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

But although according to the marks and category you have mentioned in the question you have chances of getting MBBS seat into some Private Colleges and Deemed Universities but not in Government Medical Colleges according to previous year's cut-offs which you can check out from the link given below :-

To have a list of those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.

With 400 marks in NEET 2020? Can I get private medical college in UP?

Anurag pal Student Expert 19th Sep, 2020

Hey dear, if wee see the last year's cutoff which went very high that even students getting 500 were unable to get a govt. Mbbs seat, so with this score  you won't get a govt. Mbbs seat but definitely get a private mbbs seat but with high fee in u.p. With these marks you can also try for govt. Bams and bhms by attending their couselling. Hey,

With 289 marks, you will get a rank between 264920-281164. You can check it here https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor

Based on previous year cut off in Madhya Pradesh for MBBS in SC category, you will not get a MBBS seat in Madhya Pradesh. Last year SC category closed at 324 , the college was Amaltas Institute of Medical Sciences. To know more about cut off in Madhya Pradesh, check here https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-mp

With that being said, cut off varies every year depending on the number of candidates appearing for the exam, number of candidates qualifies, the top NEET marks and the difficulty of the exam. Im getting 435 marks in neet exam. have any chance of low budget private medical college in West bengal, and karnatka.from general category

vishesh kumar 18th Sep, 2020

Hi,

I would like to tell you that the cutoffs for government medical colleges in West Bengal is generally low as the no. of aspirants are lesser than the available seats, so there are chances that you may get a lower government college in West Bengal with state quota for both MBBS as well as BDS courses. If you are unable to get a government college in the counselling, then I would like to tell you that the fees for private colleges starts from 10 lakhs per annum. So if you can afford the fees then go for it or else go for one year drop and appear for NEET 2021. All the best!!

is NEXT exam both for private and government MBBS graduates? or only those students who passed from private medical college has to give this exam?

rachanapbennur 18th Sep, 2020

Hi!

The government of India proposed National Medical Commision Bill (NMC Bill) in 2019, according to which the  all graduates of MBBS need to give a common exit test called National Exit Test (NEXT). zthe objective behind this test is to produce more qualified doctors and to bring uniformity among MBBS graduates.

NEXT exam must be given by all MBBS graduates irrespective of whether they studied in government college or private college.
