Production Engineering
Hi Prakash,
Both the streams are equally good and it depends upon your interests and passion what you want to pursue. As far as placement is concerned, Production Engineering is great option in present while Industrial Biotechnology has brighter future.
Thank you and best of luck.
dear student,
Every Engineering trade is full of scopes in a “developing” country, as our India,
provided:
You must bear something in yourself, to get success in a field.
every Engineering field is a must need in India. Engineering is application of science in daily life. So, you need it badly, no matter what is the trade.
Problem with Engineering is: 1.Private colleges think about getting money rather than inculcating education
2. Parents just want an “engineering” son/daughter. No respect to development of nation and interest of their child.
3. Students think about getting passed in semesters, rather than to respect the studies, understanding concepts and their application.
hope it helps!!!!

Production engineering basically deals with the manufacturing process based engineering such as fabrication, machining, casting , forging etc.
Industrial engineering has only one motive, I.e. to increase productivity( output to input) of an industry by designing techniques developed from scientific methods of engineering. It includes Time and motion study where a qualitative and quantitative evaluation of a work is carried out.
basically its a technical & management approach.
hope it helps
All the best!!!
