Can I pursue M.tech in Robotics and Artificial intelligence after doing B.tech in Production engineering?
Hi dear aspirant,
Artificial intelligence is one of the best fields if we talk according to the current situations. The job opportunities with good packages also there are several types of research taking place, especially in Artificial intelligence field. However, right now the market is in the growing stage so if you want instant opportunities the scope is quite low but it will boosts in the upcoming year's.
Talking about pursuing a Master of technology-focused in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence after pursuing a B.Tech in production engineering, there is no issue in pursuing M.Trch from a different field.
All you need to do is to understand things well and also try to study on your own in meantime.
Below I have enlisted some colleges for Masters In Artificial Intelligence, have a look at them.
- IIT Hyderabad
- IIT Ropar
- Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi
- Defence Institute of Advanced Technoogy, Pune
I hope this information helps you.
Thank you:)
Which option is better-BTech NIT-Rourkela EIE or NIT-Trichy Production engineering?
If youre refering to the Placement Perspective, I would say both EIE at NIT Rourkela as well as Production or maybe Metallurgy at NIT Trichy, both have good Placements, and paclages averaging anywhere between 7-10 LPA for most Students across Core, Non Core and Other Employer Sectors.
Now coming to the Academic Perspective, both NITT and NITR have strong faculty, infrastructre and a good campus life to their respective varsities.
Hence the decision effectively lies with you, you may prefer the Institute at vicinity to your Hometown. Maybe other factors like, incase youre into some sort of dream of studying in the Top 10 Colleges in India or maybe the Best NIT.
Incase you were aspiring Electrical or Computational branches, you may choose to stay happy with NITR EIE. Perhaps, I would say, incase youre targeting something like MBA Preparation or Government Services in Future, Production maybe a better option with a comparatively relaxed curriculum. Electrical and Instrumentation definitely has one of the toughet curriculums in campus, and you dont generally get sufficient time for Preparation or pursuing interests apart from Academics.
Incase you plan a MTech or Maybe Job in PSUs in future, prefer EIE NITR over Production at NITT.

sir i am confused bcz in jee mains 2021 my sc category rank is 3622.and i got 1.nit trichy - production engineering 2.nit surathkal - metallurgy 3.nit warangal - metallurgy 4.nit calicut - chemical 5. nit durgapur - electrical engineering and i got core branches also in average nit what i do ?
Hi,
Congratulations for your such rank. Hope you are doing great.
See, whatever you will choose, you will have to study it at least for next 4 years and you have to work on that through the rest of your life. So, I will advise you to choose according to your choice and liking on subject.
Now, if you look over other criteria, then NIT Trichy is the top NIT. But there you just get lower branch like Production. Students also take Metallurgy to be a lower branch. But due to that thought, it has been seen that now a days, there are a lot of vacancies remaining on Metallurgy in different companies. So I think it to be a great opportunity. Now, chemical, electrical and other core branches which you are getting in other NITs, are very good. Though core branches are evergreen branches, you must know that students of core branches have very poor opportunities in case of placement.
So think about all these criteria one by one. Talk to your guardians, if possible, then talk to seniors also who have studied engineering or are currently studying. And last but not the least, don't forget to think about your passion for a particular stream. Don't worry.
Hope this helps. All the best.

In WBJEE if I am getting CSE in Kalyani Government engineering College but in Jadavpur University if I am getting production engineering, then which college should I choose? I need a good suggestion.
Hi,
Both the colleges are very reputed & offers great placement opportunities so it really depends on what you are interested in. If you are interested about software, computers then CSE for you but if not then you can go for production engineering. Kalyani offers great placement opportunities to students in top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, etc with an average salary package of INR 8 to 10 LPA. The highest can go up to INR 40 LPA while Jadavpur offers placement to students in companies like Mercedes, Bajaj and PSUs like GAIL and others. The average salary offered is around INR 6 to 7 LPA & the highest in this course is INR 23 LPA. So, you need to consider the job opportunities & the package you wish to avail.
The infrastructure & faculty is undoubtedly good in both the colleges. There's nothing distinctively different about the infrastructure that can affect your decision & the faculty is experienced & knowledgeable in both the colleges.
So, the thing that matters is your interest in the course, the placement opportunities & the salary package. Now, you know what your priority is so you can decide which one is better.
Hope this helps.

which will be best among production engineering in jadavpur University,Electrical engineering in Kalyani government engineering college and electronics and communication engineering in IEM ; for an 2200 rank holder in wbjee? ( I am an general candidate and I have no TFW)
Hi aspirant, since you have 2200 rank in your WBJEE exam so you can easily take admission in the colleges you have mentioned in the question with the branches you have decided so one thing is important in choosing your college among your prescribed colleges you need to remember first that there are two factors like;
College with your desired branch doesn't matter the which college you opt.
Secondly college according to your finance condition.
So it's on you whether you want to go with your desired branch in any of the college whereever you get seat or you may choose college on behalf of your financial condition.
Thank You.
