can I become professor after MA correspondence
Hello,
If you're interested in teaching in a college, then you have to appear for NET and qualify the lectureship for which you need to pass master's degree in any relevant discipline from a recognized board securing 55% for UR, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, there are also SETs conducted at state level for recruitment of assistant professor for which the eligibility criteria is same that of aforementioned for NET which is conducted at national level, see as long as the university from which you're pursuing MA it's recognized by UGC, there is no problem but after MA you cannot become professor directly, it's a long journey ahead, you can become lecturer through NET or can choose to appear for SETs conducted at state level for assistant professor, hope this helps you, if you still have any other query you can mention in the comment box below.

how to become a professor of biology? what are the requirements needed?
Hello Mahak,
If you want to be a professor for biology, you have to do the following :
First of all you need to get a bachelor's degree in biology.
Complete your masters in biology.
Appear for the NET LS examination and clear it.
As per UGC a candidate would need to have a PhD in relevant subject for post of an assistant professor from the year 2023.
So if you haven't yet completed your bachelor's means that you also need to do PhD in biology as the rule will established before you apply for the job.
Next after you become an assistant professor several years of promotion and large amount of publications will help you get promoted to an associate professor.
Similarly, after years of experience as associate professor you would be promoted to professor's post.
The promotions are done under the UGC guidelines only.
Hope that answers your question.
All the best

does assistant professor associate professor n professor require d knowledge of computers
Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
For being a Assistant professor in UGC colleges, You should have a SET/SLET, NET certificates and have a Masters degree since it is mandatory as per the ugc guidelines.
However, your computer knowledge depends on the subject you might be teaching and there is as such no criteria regarding the computer knowledge as far as you are not related to any computer science courses.
All the best.
