I study in 10th standard CBSE I want to pursue a career in astrophysics or research sciences related to astronomy, what courses and what exams do I need to take and what will be the estimated cost of college?

Prangya panda 18th Dec, 2021

Hello,

As you have mentioned, you are interested in Astrophysics and research field, so you can prepare accordingly. You have to learn physics of astronomical behaviours. First, you have to complete your bachelor's degree in Astrophysics and there after you have to complete your Master's and phd in Astrophysics. You need to practice on your analytical skills, mathematical skills, and problem solving skills. This will help you to be ready for the test. The minimum qualifications for getting a seat for Astrophysics in colleges is 50-60% in your class 12th.

Some of the entrance exams for Astrophysics are BITSAT,IIT, JEE, IUCAA NCRA, etc. The course fee ranges from INR 20,000 to 1.5 lpa.

Hope this has cleared your doubts. Thank you.

i seriously want. to if rajasthan board gives 12th passing certificate please do research and then tell me its urgent please

Suchana Datta 14th Dec, 2021

Hi,

CBSE do not provide any passing certificate separately for class 10th. Marksheet of class 10th act as passing certificate too. But in 12th class there is separate passing certificate apart from marksheet.

Pass Certificate is a document issued by educational boards which states that you've cleared all your subjects and scored passing marks and now you are eligible to enroll in other institutions for degree courses.

Visit digilocker.gov.in.

Under the 'education' section of the DigiLocker website, click on 'Central Board Of Secondary Education'.

Select Class 12 passing certificate and Class 12 marksheet.

Login using the mobile number registered with CBSE and access your marksheet and/or certificate.

Hope this helps

Wish you luck

Hello Aspirant,

It is quite difficult to make any accurate prediction of cut-offs for any particular college because the cut-off keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors such as :-

*** number of candidates appeared in NEET 2021

*** difficulty level of the paper

*** top score for NEET 2021

*** total number of seats available for admission and so on.

But we can help you on the basis of previous years cut-offs, by analyzing data of previous years we can guide you upto some sort of predicted scut-off for Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute.

So if we go through previous years cut-offs then according to that, you have good chances of getting Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute only if you are able to score around 660-680 out of 720 marks in NEET . Because as we go through previous years cut-off data then it shows that the closing cut-off marks were around 666 for Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute under All India quota for General category.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

iisc and iiser requires a jee score or a kvpy score to get in. you can go for a jee coaching based on this information but it depends on you as to how you want to prepare. if you feel you can crack jee through self study you can do it. otherwise go for a jee coaching and then get a kvpy fellowship or get a good score in jee

Hey!

Students who have passed class tenth must now prepare for the next step, which is to select a course to pursue following class ten. Because Science, Arts, and Commerce courses are available beyond 10th grade, this needs some consideration and investigation. Not only that, but kids interested in a job-oriented curriculum may need to look into post-tenth-grade courses that allow for placement after graduation.

If you are confused about which stream to choose, then you should look over each stream before deciding. You may read the article, the link for which is provided below for a brief overview of all the streams after class 10th.

But if you are sure you want to pursue science stream, you can go with it and you can look the career prospects the course offers and scope of it.
