can i join researcher institute after mbbs

nishant sharma 14th Jan, 2021

Hello student ,

There are many ways you can get into Research post MBBS. If you want to be in India, you can do MD PSM, MPH and work with WHO and do some real Research work with them or if you plan to do MD Phamacology, you have great chance of working in Pharma domain and other Research options. In India, after doing all this, the market is niche and its better you head to US for further studies.

Even after MBBS, you can apply for some short courses in USA/UK for Research in the field which interests you. But you make sure you go through Proper counsellors and check their eligibility criteria .

Hope it helps !

I want to be a space researcher what should i do ? I am in class 11 science stream.

rehan18alam Student Expert 21st Jun, 2020

Dear Aspirant

If you are interested in the research field then I would suggest you should go for the btech in the aeronautical engineering or go for the physics honours. Now you can not get into the research field just after you passed your +2. For making a career in the research, you should first have to complete your graduation.

Then after that you must go for MS, from either abroad, or from top institutes in India like IISc.

Hope this helps. Thank you.
