any reservation for girls in nifft?????

Ketaki Dhotre Student Expert 17th Sep, 2021

Dear,

No there is no women quota in NIFT. There are only SC, ST, OBC(NCL), State Domicile, NRI AND PHP quota. Women reservation is done to increase the ratio of the girls to the boys. NIFT doesn’t need that. However, there is a seat reservation of 27% in all courses offered by NIFT for candidates belonging to OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Category.

Hope this helps!

i am a student from J&K scored 417 marks in neet ug 2020 . i belong to ews category and i am a girl as our state has 50% reservation for girls . Can i get admission in mbbs .

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 15th Nov, 2020

Compared to 2019, the NEET 2020 cut offs have changed considerably higher than expected. With the top score being 720 which is 19 marks greater than 2019's top score, it is difficult to predict chances. But based on the analysis of the experts, on the and going by previous years data, your All India Rank might be approximately 100000-110000. Even with 10% EWS and 50% Girl student reservation, a seat in MBBS might be tad diffiicult. You might get a seat in BDS. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Is there reservation for girls within ews in eamcet 2020?

Mrinalini Sarkar 20th Oct, 2020

Hello,

No, there is no such reservation for any particular gender within EWS in EAMCET 2020. EWS is already a reserved quota  for all financially weak candidates. Moreover, every college has at least 5% of reservation for girls which means the cutoff will be lower than the rest of the candidates. You can look for other criteria  regarding the exam in the official website.

Hope it helps you.

Good luck.
