I am a PCM student should I take my 5th subject as Sanskrit , is Sanskrit in 11th std much harder than 10th or It can be managed?

Harsha Sinha 29th Apr, 2020

Hi there,

It's completely your choice if your sanskrit is good till class 10 then you can go for it as your 5 subject as it is a language so you should be very clear about this.

In my opinion since you are an pcm students so you should either choose computer or physical education as your 5 option. As for me these are easier than sanskrit.

I hope this help

My 12th board has only four subjects i.e maths, physics, chemistry, English & sanskrit. There is no additional subject. How will my Aggregate marks for jee adv will be calculated?

Yash Dev Student Expert 27th Mar, 2020
Hello student you've mentioned five subject. Still Jee advance will count only the aggregate of your best four subject which includes physics and chemistry, mathematics and English.
Eligibility - candidates must passed or appearing class 12 with physics chemistry and mathematics with minimum 75 percent marks aggregate from a recognized board.

Feel free to comment if you have any doubt

I got 374/470 in my 12th class of Telangana board, can I know if Im getting 75% aggregate marks? for reference in English - 91/100 sanskrit - 94/100 physics - 59/60 chemistry - 57/60 Maths P1 - 28/75 maths p2 - 45/75

Hello,

Aggregate marks is noting but the Average.

It is equal to

{ sum of marks secured in all applicable subjects divided by total number of subjects (or) total marks obtained divided by total allotted } * 100

Note: For some competitive exams, PCM aggregate is asked, in that case, you should consider only these subjects.

In your case, the % is equal to 79.5 %.

Obtained as: ( 374 / 470 ) * 100

Hope this helps.

Thanks.

i got 78percentile in jee mains January 2020 session but if i failed 12th board in Sanskrit 2019 - 20 so can i get jee mains.??

rehan18alam Student Expert 7th Mar, 2020

Dear aspirant,

If Sanskrit was your 6th subject then even if you fail in it, it won't affect your chances of appearing in JEE main and your score will remain valid, however if it was a part of your 5 subjects then you have to clear the exam.

If you have any follow up questions, comment down below.

Thank you.

for delhi university you need to calculate best of 4 subjects marks , taking one language paper, as per your mentioned details, you have to take sanskrit , and mathematics and physics and chemistry, please add the practical marks of physics and chemistry, then calculate the marks of 4 subject out of 400.
