I have obc certificate issued from haryana Govt. and schooling 11th and 12th from delhi. Can I eligible for counseling in obc quota in JAC delhi.

harshitjh 5th Oct, 2020

Hello,

Hope you are doing well!

To be eligible for counselling in the OBC quota in Delhi region, you need to have an OBC certificate made from the state government of Delhi or the central government of India, any OBC certificate made in any other state or part of India gives reservation to the people of only that particular state's counselling procedures.

For Example,

If you have an OBC certificate issued from Haryana Government then that means that you will be considered or will be given the reservation benefits only in Haryana Colleges Counselling.

Therefore, you will be counted as general  in other parts of India.

So, You are not eligible for Counselling under OBC quota in Delhi with reservation from Haryana.

Hope this will help you!

All the best for a bright future!

How to get state of eligibility certificate for joining in NIT Trichy ? And I belong to Tamil Nadu and have completed my schooling here...

Nivedhitha 21st Oct, 2020

Hi,

State code of eligibility means the code of the State from where the candidate has passed Class XII (or equivalent) qualifying examination by which the candidate becomes eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2020. The State code of eligibility mustn't be about the native place or the place of residence of the candidate. For example, if a candidate appears for the Class XII examination in Mumbai and is a resident of Uttar Pradesh, the candidate’s State code of eligibility will be Delhi.

You must provide your Class XII Mark sheet or Class XII Admit card for verification of the state code of eligibility. You can also provide your Passport to your permanent address in it.

Thank you.

I am from Delhi my schooling is also from Delhi bt my obc is from UP. is it valid for IP University

Dinesh nehra 21st Oct, 2020

Generally they ask for obc central government certificate not state government certificate so try to make obc central government certificate from SDM which is useful for you.if your schooling is from Delhi then you will also get benefit of home state couta.do not be panic make a central level from your domicile state from tehsil through SDM officer and apply this when admission/counseling authorities asked for this.

mybrother has passed 10th class so should he do non-attending or schooling?

Palak kumari 7th Sep, 2020

Hey priyashi,

See, these decisions are totally upto you. As i have been a regular student so i'll share my experience with you.Basically if we see then there are many advantages of regular schooling. These are as follows:-

1) you get the chance to clear your doubts in any topic with your teacher.

2) you get the chance to learn your subjects theoretically as well as practically.

3) you are awared about all the equipments used in physics, chemistry or biology labs which might help you in further studies.

4) being a regular student would also help you to develop your personality enhance your communication skills as well.

5) also besides studies there are a lot Activities in which you take part in and you learn a lot of skills like team work, leadership etc.

Whereas talking about non-attending you might not get these advantages but yes there are some which you might get and those are:-

1)You would be able to join those 5-6 hrs of coaching such as FIITJEE, Akash etc.

2) You would get enough time for preparation for your competitive exams.

Hope it helps.

Good luck.

I have done my schooling in Delhi . I have my SC certificate of Delhi but i dont know if i can use it for delhi state quota in neet or i need a domicile along with this??

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 6th Sep, 2020

If you look at the eligibility critiera for Delhi State Quota at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/du-mbbs-admission it mentions that you should have completed your 12th in a school located in NCt of Delhi. If you fulfil that criteria, you can use your SC Category certificate for claiming SC reservation in Delhi State NEET Counselling. Those Candidates who have completed their 12th in Delhi are eligible for Institutional quota and so they do not need Domicile certificate. Your Category certificate is not a proof of domicile but by the virtue of studying your 12th in Delhi, you are eligible for its Institutional quota and do not need a Domicile certificate.

Hello,

It's never too late, you can still start your preparation, just follow the steps mentioned below:

Get acquainted with the syllabus, the core areas of banking remains the same, Quantitative Aptitude, Readoning and English, especially in the first stage, later on there are Mains, descriptive test , in case of clerk interview doesn't happen.

The level of Probationary Officers are comparatively higher than that of Clerk.

For Quantitative Aptitude, you can refer NCERTs book for conceptual understanding, later on go for standard books such as Arihant Objective Mathematics, M Tyra Quicker Maths, R K Agarwal Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Exams, if you're preparing for PO, you can refer How to prepare for Quantitative Aptitude for the CAT"by Arun Sharma(the level of quant is very high here)

For Reasoning, you can use MK Pandey Analytical Reasoning/RK Agarwal Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

Coming to English, you can useWren and Martin Bookfor Grammar,Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewisis a good book for vocabulary building, for practice purpose use Objective General by SP Bakshi. Read The Hindu on a daily basis, nowadays RCs are taken directly from here only, this will improve your language skills, vocabulary and knowledge.

Use Internet extensively, there are many banking exams preparation sites which provide free mock papers for each of above section, even if you don't have books, note down the syllabus and make a timetable to devote certain hours to those subjects, take one topic,in case of reasoning and quanit, gain conceptual understanding and practice thereafter.
