I have permanent residence of Uttar pradesh and my schooling is from Delhi which state quota will I get?

Pankhuri Kumari 19th Aug, 2020
Hii!
You can get a benefit of quota or reservation in both the states as per the conditions. If you are a native resident of Uttar Pradesh, you must have a domicile of Uttar Pradesh to get any reservation benefit. If you completed class 12th in Delhi, you must be having the Bonafide certificate, which will help you get reservation in Delhi colleges too.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

my kcet marks are 113 and pcb is 281 with 3b category and 10 years rural schooling what will be my ranking and will I get free veterinary seat

Kumari Shivani 7th Aug, 2020
Hi,
Congrats on such amazing rank.
Assuming that you are of general category and have a residence of Karnataka, Your General Predicted rank range 801 - 1500.
With your good marks in boards , you can surely get a seat in veterinary in good government college.
You can check the previous year cut off, college and branch in the link below.
This is based on last year's cut off, it may varies due to many reasons such as students response to colleges, number of candidates appeared, question difficulty level etc.
Karnataka Examination authority (KEA) hasn't announced the cut off or when it will be released yet. It will be released in opening rank and closing rank.
KEA releases cut off after the end of each counselling round.
KCET cut off are different for different colleges as there are number of colleges. It also has different cut off for different course and counselling. It depends on your rank which college you will secure.
This is the cut off of last year,

I am 12th pass(PCB) NEET aspirant. I have no interest in pursuing medical. Instead i want to pursue Engineering. Ive planned to appear for maths through NIOS(Open schooling). Is this a good option?

Shreya sharma 12th Sep, 2020

Hi sneha,

Hope you're doing good.

I'd suggest you to PLEASE do whatever you like. You don't wanna become a doctor who doesn't like community service and her job. Rather, be an engineer who likes what she does for a living.

As most of the colleges have closed their admissions,  there are still some colleges left. And regular courses always have more value than open schooling. So you should apply for regular course and side by side prepare for JEE. Else, you can still pursue open schooling in maths and prepare For JEE, it'll help you a lot. You'll have plenty of time.

All the best.

I am in 12th(open schooling) and I am preparing for jee exam did I have to follow the new policy of education

Rayan Rego 30th Jul, 2020

No . you don't have to follow the new education policy system. The new education system won't be interfear for the students who are already studying.

Also the proposal of the new education policy got approval . It has not been implemented yet . This policy will take some time for implementation since you have to merge UGC & AICTE , train teachers/ principals and educational members about the changes that will happen. Also there has to be improvement in the no. of government schools.

The Policy's implementation period will be shared by the Education Ministry soon .

You have to continue your studies with the old policy. ALL THE BEST.

Hope it helps

Is age 21 after being wasting schooling graduation despite before i was topper but eventually after 10th i became loser due to laziness is still i have chance to start strong again after this circumstances ? i want to crack Sbi but will i. be able to as i am starting now late after years of sleeping

S. Saha Student Expert 23rd Jul, 2020
One thing must be cleared that you arenot late at all. The minimum age to appear for SBI PO exam is 21 years old. And you are 21 now. So you stiil have time. And the most important thing is that you don't want to lose. Don't feel like that you are lost. Don't go for competition. There are students who qualify SBI PO in first time. But there are more students who can't qualify in the very first attempt. But they don't lose hope. They stuck to it until they reach their goal. So when you have time, you must prepare for the examination rather than thinking all these. If this is fear of failure, it can be cured only by not thinking about these. Just engage yourself in the preparation, you'll automatically forget this things.

First of all go through the entire syllabus of SBI PO. SBI PO prelims syllabus covers topics from Reasoning Ability, Quantitative aptitude and English language. So the main thing is that you have to concentrate on Aptitude more. Daily practice of aptitudes can help you a lot. Allot one day for one aptitude topic. After understanding and completing all the topics, you should solve practice sets available on various websites. There are many study materials available on internet. You can take help of video tutorials available free in YouTube. RS Aggarwal's Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Examinations, A modern approach to Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning - you can prepare from. If you find it difficult to study from different books, then make your own notes. This is a good habit, your memory retention will also improve.

Once done with syllabus you can move on to solving mock test, previous year exam papers. Then try to figure out your weak areas and work on them.

This year I hve done 12th from CBSE board but I have not got good percentage but last year I have also done 12th from my state board. But in NEET application form I have mentioned CBSE schooling details but now I want to apply State board marksheet for MBBS admission. plz let knw if it is possible.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 20th Jul, 2020

Srashti, you could have changed your Academic details during the correction window. NTA has extended the correction window until 20th July until 5pm IST. But now that it is past 10pm IST, you cannot make any changes to your NEET application form. But if you meet NEET eligiblity criteria regarding the aggregate based on your Category, you can retain the current marks skeet. And to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. If you meet this criteria, you can keep the marks details that you have right now but unfortunately the correction window has been closed and so you cannot make any changes at this point in time.
