Hope you are doing well

They both are good there is one plus point for you if studied any one of them (like bank ) than you are able compete with other also because their syllabus is approximately same

If I score 10.0 ,than my percentage is 95%.and its wrong ,I think.than who can get 100% marks. answer this we have 6 subjects in ssc and in CBSE-only 5 subjects. lol formula Gpa*9.5=x%is wrong formula for SSC syllabus .answer me ,if you think Im wrong.......

Shja 5th Aug, 2021
Dear Aspirant,

The formula you have mentioned is correct. It doesn't matter how many subjects you have. It's a general formula. The only change which might be possible is that instead of 9.5 it could be 9.6. You will find this on the internet as well. It doesn't make much difference. In university exams as well we calculate our percentage by multiplying by 9.5.
This is the demerit of the CGPA system. It doesn't give much value to toppers. All the students who have secured 95% and above will secure 10 cgpa.

I hope this helps.

Good Luck

if a sc category student has 67.77 in ssc , 52.27 in hsc , 7.0 cgpa in graduation and he is non engineer.if he score 99+ in cat so is there any chances that he will getting any call from old or main iim. he should target cat or he can prepare for other exam like xat , snap , nmat , iift ?

Purbayan Chatterjee 12th Sep, 2021

Hi Omkar,

It is very difficult to state definitely whether you'll get a call from the old (IIMs I,K,L) or main (IIMs A,B,C) IIMs  with your past academics records even on scoring 99+ percentile in CAT. There are reservations no doubt and you will be eligible for that, but usually for these IIMs especially IIM A,B and C, somewhat around 99 percentiles are required for non-engineers with good academic scores for non-reserved candidates.

All that said, under the CAT umbrella several other B-Schools come most of which do not see your past academics and a lot of them provide really good placements at par with IIMs. So with 99+ in CAT you'll easily be able to get calls from them.

Therefore, work hard for CAT and let fate decide what is in for you.

All the best.

what to do I not add the date to photo SSC GD application??

Shubham Dhane 2nd Aug, 2021

Hello,

There is no correction window for SSC so you cannot correct it. It is not possible to fill another SSC application with the same name and details. So i will suggest you to talk to the officials regarding this so that they can help you with what to do next. You will find the contact details in the official website. The notification clearly says that the photograph should not be more than three months old from the date of publication of the Notice of Examination, and, the date on which the photograph has been taken should be clearly printed on the photograph. Applications without such date printed on the photograph will be rejected.

iam applied ssc gd..my signature is vertically .. rejected my application

Sharon Rose Student Expert 27th Jul, 2021

Hello,

If the uploaded image of the scanned signature itself was vertical before uploading then there are chances that the application may get rejected. The uploaded images must be as per specification, if there are discrepancies in the application form submitted then the application may get rejected. If you haven't submitted the application yet you can re-upload the signature which is horizontal and submit the application, if you have already submitted the application then you cannot change/modify the image as there is no correction facility for SSC GD application.
