what is stress and strain ?explain thoroughly

Vivek Kumar 2nd Dec, 2021

Hi aspirant,

Stress: It is a force per unit area. When forces pull on an object and cause its elongation, like the stretching of an elastic band, we call such stress a tensile stress. When forces cause a compression of an object, we call it a compressive stress. When an object is being squeezed from all sides, like a submarine in the depths of an ocean, we call this kind of stress or a bulk stress.

Strain: An object or medium under stress becomes deformed. The quantity that describes this deformation is called strain. Strain is given as a fractional change in either length (under tensile stress) or volume (under bulk stress) or geometry (under shear stress). Therefore, strain is a dimensionless number. Strain under a ensile stress is called tensile strain, strain under bulk stress is called bulk strain (or volume strain), and that caused by shear stress is called shear strain.

Thank You.

Madnansanaullah05112001 18th Aug, 2021

Hey Aspirant !

There are so many extra- curricular activities for relaxing you can also search it on internet and look for which one best fits for you.

But as a advisor I can suggest you some extra- curricular activities that might be helpful for you.

What you can do is improve your skills like painting sketching or poster making or writing quotes, poems, shyrees etc. You can do these on computer as well as on paper with your brush or pen you don't have to complete whole painting or poem at a particular time you can do it slowly some today some tomorrow.

And also you can watch some inspiring videos or you can play sports or exercise like running or walking for 15 mins or you can do crafts and can build some good looking things like flower pots etc etc.

There are so many extra curricular activities you can look for it also on internet and find which one best fits for you for your rest.

I hope this information might be helpful for you,
