NIT Silchar was ranked 46 by NIRF for the year 2020 in the engineering category and 94 for the overall performance. The institute provides various excellent programs in the engineering department. The college has a great infrastructure with a nice building and lots of space. The campus is very neat and clean and there are lakes present all around the classrooms. The library is very big and contains all the required curriculum books, and there are also games rooms where many types of indoor games are available, the hostel is very great. There are sports and games like cricket, volleyball and also tv room which are very well maintained. The campus has a Wi-Fi which has great speed, and labs are well equiped with very good lab teacher as they are knowledgable and teaches well. The college arranges a fest every year and it is very nice.

The course Curriculum of the institute is very upto date and there are regular exams and seminar conducted to make the students up to the mark. Each and every faculty members are very helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified for in their respective subjects. The teachers use various methods for teaching which include slides, board, presentations by students and many more.

The placement is also very good. Most of the students get placed every year. The highest package given to the students is 28 LPA, the lowest is 3.25 LPA, and the average is 6.5 LPA. Many top level companies like Deloitte, Oracle, Direct I, etc. visit the college. Almost all the students get an internship. The stipend depends on the internship. The college also has great research facilities for the students who are willing to do research in a specific field.

Yes, you are eligible for UGC NET, because to be eligible for UGC NET one needs to be a  post graduate and M.tech in Structural Engineering is a postgraduate degree and thus you are eligible provided you fulfill rest of the criteria

see cutoff score changes every year and it varies with certain determining factors  like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category and so on. however at this score it is quite difficult to secure structural engineering in nits, even north east nits which is very popular among civil engineering graduates as m.tech stream. based on previous years cutoff nit meghalaya, structural engineering cutoff was 238 for spot round. so you might have chances in spot round admission. however do participate in the counselling process and hope for the best.

To admission in nits you have to participate in centralized admission process. admission to NIts and GFTIS is through CCMT 2021. however till now date has not published  for counselling process. The eligibility criteria for phd course in IIIT hyderabad for structural engineering is as follows:

Candidates must complete First class Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech / B.E) in Civil / Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University AND First class Master’s degree in Structural (or, allied) Engineering from a recognized University.

however I would suggest to follow  gate syllabus of civil engineering along with your m.tech course syllabus. there is no specific syllabus is given in website, however IITs written or viva test basic conception questions and project works are basically asked.

see m.tech admission to vardhan college of engineering is based on score in gate or tspgecet exam. however gate score holders are given priority to admission in m.tech course. there is not much information from students regarding m.tech placement. to tell the truth the best institute for doing m.tech is iits, nits, jadavpur university, osmania university, jntuh etc. so it would be best to try for renowned and tier 1 institute. if this year is not possible then go for any job and try for next year. but choose the best institute to study.

The Bar Council of India, does not recognize any LLB Degree in any Part Time, Evening or Distance Mode.

Hence, even if you manage to get a LLB in Evening Mode from some Open or Private University , you must be aware of the fact that you will not be able to practice in a Court of Law.
