There are national level, state level and university level entrance exams like GATE, BITS HD, TS PGECET, AP PGECET, Karnataka PGECET etc. Depending on the college you are interested in, you need to appear for entrance exam. You need to qualify in the exam but first you need to check if the M.Tech Structural Engineering course is offered in the college that you are interested in. If you qualify you need to participate in counselling, the counselling process vary depending on the exam/institute so you should check the details before applying. Both these universities are well reputed. Osmania university is one of the oldest university when compared to Gokuraju Rangaraju college of engineering

Osmania University have wonderful overall ratings for MTech. They have good placement record but a bit inconsistent, average placement record is around 70%. Highest package offered is 20Lakhs per annum, lowest package offered is 2Lakhs per annum and average package offered is 3Lakhs per annum. Top recruiters are TCS, Amazon, google, etc. They have good infrastructure with highly qualified teaching faculties.

Gokuraju Rangaraju college of engineering have excellent overall rating much similar to that of Osmania university. They have good placement record but are highly inconsistent, it becomes a difficult task to predict the average placement record. Highest package offered is 41 Lakhs per annum, lowest package offered is 3 lakhs per annum and average package offered is 4-5Lakhs per annum. Top recruiters are TCS, Capgemini, Adobe, etc. They have good infrastructure with highly qualified teaching faculties.

For Osmania university fee would be ranging from 60K - 3.20 Lakhs per annum and for Gokuraju Rangaraju the fee will be around 1.29Lakhs per annum.

I would recommend to go with Osmania university.

The cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty of exam and number of seats available etc.

According to your category rank and previous year cut offs you have a low chance of getting the seat in ME Structural Engineering as this course has only 18 seats in total from where only 5-6 or less candidates gets the seat. If you want to wait, then till last round you have to wait or its better to have some other college in mind also so that if you not get this college then other might do the work.
