I failed in one subject in my SSC 10th board exam but I have cleared it in supplementary exam so can I get admission for 11th standard in college?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 23rd Apr, 2021

Hi

Yes, you can definitely take admission in class 11th.

This is because,

Although, you had failed in one subject earlier what all matters is that you have passed it in your supplementary examination , so now  you are 10th passed and thus eligible for taking admission in class 11th. Different colleges/schools have different percentage requirement in 10th for providing admission. Percentage cut off to get admission in science stream in 11th is generally higher than commerce and arts. So, you don't need to worry at all now that you are passed you can definitely get admission provided you meet the the other requirements of the college / school in which you want to get admission.

To help you further,

Some of the best options that you can go for after your class 10th are listed below :-

* 10+ 2  :-

You have to choose any one of science  Commerce , Arts/Humanities streams.

-)Science :- You get to study subjects like physics, chemistry, biology ,computer science, maths etc. You can go for maths or PCM i.e  physics, chemistry , maths group, you should basically choose this if you want to pursue engineering in future. You can go for Biology or PCB group i.e  physics, chemistry biology. You should choose PCB group if you want to get into medical field like mbbs, bds etc in future . You can even go for PCMB group if you are interested in studying both Maths and Biology in your 10+2.

-)Commerce :- You get to study subjects like Accounts, Business studies, Economics & Maths ,Commerce etc. If you want to become a chartered accountant, company secretary, financial advisor etc in future, then commerce is for you. In commerce you acquire commercial knowledge required for business.

-)Arts :- If you like subjects like history, polity etc then you can go for Arts. You get to study subjects like History, Geography, Literature, Political Science, economics etc. You should go for arts if you aspire to get into Journalism, literature, languages, history, psychology etc.

* Polytechnic / Diploma :- After   your 10th you can go for diploma courses in various branches of Engineering like mechanical, Electrical, Civil etc on the basis of your interest.

* ITI :- ITI is a skill development course which you can go for after your 10th , you can do iti any trade of your choice like Electrician, fitter, Welder etc.

* Paramedical courses :- after your 10th you can go for various paramedical courses for which you can get detailed information at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/paramedical-courses-after-10th-12th

Now, out of all these options which should you go for depends upon:-

*Your interest

*What do you want to become,

For example,

You should choose PCM science if you want to become an engineer, PCB science if you want to become a doctor, you should choose commerce if you want to be a banker or an accountant, you should choose arts if you want to become a journalist or you are interested in literature etc. So, it all depends upon your interest and what do you want to become in future so take your time and decide.

will be any mentioning of repeaters in the marks card of 2nd puc supplementary exam???

anirudha vats 11th Apr, 2021

Hey,

Usually the marksheet states the purpose it's fulfilling. The information regarding the exam is mentioned on the marksheet itself.

So I believe the supplementary marksheet will be written on the Marksheet.

For more clarification you can be in touch with your Senior who has given then Supplementary exam. But I believe supplementary will be written on your marksheet and that will show that you are a repeater.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

deled nios supplementary failed

Souhrid Sarkar 30th Mar, 2021
Hello Zenith,

Sorry to hear that..As you cannot pass the exam you have to reappear again. And even the students appeared for the exam are even allowed to apply for the rechecking or re-evaluation of the answer script in case the students are satisfied by the marks awarded to them.
You can appear in 3 subsequent exams to clear all the subject in which you didn't pass .So study in a focused manner and don't give up.

To know about the latest updates about NIOS DELED visit their Official Website : www.dled.nios.ac.in

if i failed in deled last supplementary exam then what I have to do?

Ujjwal Kumawat 30th Mar, 2021

Dear Aspirant

You can fill re-evaluation  form or back form

In the NIOS DElEd exam, candidate have to pass in individual theory (External and Course Based Assignment) as well as practical subjects separately. If someone failed to clear any of the subject or its part can again reappear in three (3) subsequent Term- End Examination so as to complete the course with the payment of examination fee as per NIOS norms.

If re evaluation  doesn't work you will have to give the exam of the same, for one subject exam fee is Rs.250/-, So as per this way you will all have to fill online registration for the failed subject. Nios deled admit cards will be issued separately for the failed subject only.

I hope it will help you

Thank you

I have failed in BHMS anatomy and physiology subject in first year in regular and supplementary exams. Now I am not interested to continue studies further.I want to B.sc What to do next?? please help me

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 26th Mar, 2021

Hi Raghu!

You can simply quit the college if you do not wish to continue further. You can contact your college authorities to get detailed procedure about quitting the college/course. And then you can take admission in Bsc in any college you are interested in. But you need to start again from the first year and might be they will ask about the gap (which occurred due to BHMS course: first year). You can check out the scope and colleges available which offer BSc in India here:

Thankyou!
