Yes, once you clear your compartment exam you can choose any engineering college of your interest.
All the best.
Yes there is a process. You can appear for one subject in July and can clear the exam and get result. In the month of October you can also appear and clear the one subject. But in this case you will get two separate marksheet which the student want to hide their failure. So it will be better for you to appear one time and clear the exam of one subject in AC HSC . Hope for the best.
At present West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education board didn't announce any thing about there supplementary exams in official websites but some educational websites said it was held on July month or some says please visit to know the routine details WBCHSE.nic.in but nothing is announced.
So you can wait or check daily WBCHSE official website.

There is no such quota for supplementary students there are no fixed seats for supplementary students. Even those students need to write the competitive exam and qualify the exam, get the cut off and then apply for the counselling. The procedure is same even if it is for supplementary students. The same procedure is applicable for any student. The supplementary exam is only to increase your percentage or to clear the subjects which the student has not cleared but there is no special quota for them.
hey,
if you have failed in one subject in your 10+2 examination so you can appear for supplementary exam for the subject you have failed in , after clearing the exam to get admission in college , you need to visit that college or apply online for the same by showing your latest marksheet in which you have successfully passed in.
good luck!
