What are the basic quality difference between a doctor and a surgeon?

Sree Student Expert 8th Jul, 2019

Hello!!

A doctor can be any thing having any specialisation. Who ever treats the patient having M.B.B.S certificate and other high qualification are called as Doctor. A surgeon can be a doctor. But a doctor always need not to be a Surgeon. Surgeon is the one who performs operations pr surgeries. With requires special qualifications.

Hope this was helpful

Is it possible to become a surgeon after bhms ...as per new rule?

Rutu Waghela 7th Jul, 2019

Hii Sneha,

In India, degree in Homeopathy can be earned like any other medical degree after passing 10+2 exam.

So the first course of Homeopathy is Bachelor in Homeopathy Medicine and Surgery (BHMS). It requires five and half years to complete the course along with one year compulsory internship

As the answer to your question, you are allowed to perform some surgeries which your(Deparment of AAYUSH) board allows.

For more information about BHMS please go to,

I got neet state rank 6753 do I get admission in mbbs

Khushi wadhawan 6th Jul, 2019

Hello.

Well for admission in mbbs government college, one must score 550+ marks in Neet for UR category. As you have not mentioned your marks you can now verify for yourself and as you have not mentioned your category i asume you to be a general category candidate.

Well as 5 lakhs students around passed neet this year in UR category i guess getting a government college by state quota for you would not be difficult. Still, if it is difficult, you'll surely get a deemed University.

So all the very best.

Can I do research in environment ,medicine and plant and animal genetics while practising as a surgeon ? If yes how

Pooja Kumari 4th Jul, 2019
You cannot pursue 2 full time courses as a regular student from 2 different or same institutions at the same time. But if you are already practising as a surgeon, you must have completed MBBS/MS. This means you are academically free to study another course. It might be in research or any other relevant field. There is no objection to it. To join such course on research, you might have to select the Institution which offers this course. If you want to pursue this cpurse as full time, you might not be able to continue practising as a surgeon full timw because then you will be a research fellow and you might not have time. But if you want to pursue this course part time, you can still practise your profession.

can i study MS with poor financial background

Deepjyoti Roy 4th Jul, 2019

Hey Aspirant,

Yes, you can study MS with a financially weaker background. If you work hard and get a government seat then you can do MS at a very cheap rate. Private colleges have a very high rate but government colleges have pretty low fees. And thus you can go for it!

I hope this helps, good luck!

I got 386 in neet ug 2019 can I get medical seat in Karnataka

Twinkle Mamnani 3rd Jul, 2019

Hello aspirant,

Well you haven't mentioned a category and domicile so I'll be providing some basic information.

According to last year's cutoff you need to score a minimum of 370 to get into a government medical college in Karnataka if you belong to general category and you have a domicile of karnataka which means via state quota counselling. In that case you may have chances.

If you have a domicile of some other state and you are going to apply via all India quota counselling then I'm sorry to say but you won't be able to get admission since minimum cutoff last year was 540.

Thank you

Hi aspirant

I'm fine. What about you? To pursue MBBS in India, you need to qualify in the NEET exam conducted by the NTA. To write this exam you have to get pass mark in your 12th standard with 50% of marks. But now neet exam scores were released. You may try in next year. Your possibilities to get a seat will vary based on your category and state.

All the best.
