Can I crack neet is two months?

ruchika.chauhan Expert 18th Mar, 2019

Hello Mayank

NEET UG exams consist of questions from syllabus of Class 11th and Class 12th. Syllabus of the exam is vast and it is practically not possible to complete the whole syllabus in detail in just 2 months. However, working smartly can help you to score a good rank in the exam and get a seat in any decent medical college.

You should cover the topics which carry more weightage. It has been analysed that out of 7060 concepts/definitions in physics, chemistry and biology in NEET, only 16% concepts/definitions were asked till 2017 paper and  73% paper of NEET UG 2018 was based on these 16% concepts/definitions.
You should work on these concepts only to score good marks in the exam. You should solve previous years question papers and mock tests. It will help you to know about the exam pattern, difficulty level, and type of question asked in the exam.

after my mci fmge what should i do to get into a surgical program?

Asiya 14th Feb, 2019

Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) or MCI Screening Test which is a mandatory test for students who study MBBS outside and want to come back to India to pursue their masters. The exam will be held around mid-June this year and it is known to be one of the toughest entrance exams ever. An Indian Citizen or Overseas Citizen of India who has a Primary Medical education awarded by any Medical institution outside India which is recognized by MCI can apply for this. They can get a Provisional or Permanent registration with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.

Since its only your bachelors you have to take masters. Masters in surgery is what you will have to go for. This is called specialization. Master of Surgery in General Surgery will deal with this subject generally without any specification. You will narrow down your specialization further while doing your super specialization. This is a 3-year post graduate program in the surgical field. The minimum eligibility that is required is an M.B.B.S. with a minimum one-year internship at least. there will be counselling after clearing the entrance exams. NEET and AIIMS are some of the entrance exams that will have to be taken. Some of the best colleges for pursuing masters in surgery would be:

 AIIMS, New Delhi

Manipal University, Manipal

Christian Medical College, Vellore

Armed Forces Medical College, Pune

Madras Medical College, Chennai

MS General Surgery graduates have many job opportunities. They can work as an Anesthesiologist, Anesthesia Technician (AT), Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA), Anesthesiologist Assistant (AAs) and Medical consultant etc. they can also work in many fields like universities, hospitals, clinics, government organizations and research centers with an average salary of INR 10 to 30 Lacs per year. The salary will increase with experience and expertise. This is a post graduate course which is provided under the discipline of general surgery. General Surgery comes under surgery and deals with the surgical treatment of abdominal organs like intestines inclusive esophagus, stomach, colon, liver and furthermore of the thyroid gland and hernia. It is a course for 3 years which is divided across 6 semesters. This duration also includes the period of examination. But if a student has completed a recognized two year post graduate diploma course in the same field of study then the duration of training will be 2 years. After this you have to take masters of surgery which is also known as Ch.M. This is an advanced qualification in surgical medicine.

I found this page very useful! Im in the 9th grade and I aspire to become a cardio-vascular surgeon. I want to get into AIIMS. Any tips?

Dr.Debtanu Banerjee 13th Jan, 2019
It is very pleasant to hear that you have such high ambitions at such a tender age
you need to crack NEET UG with a good rank and get into a collage of your choice or DAVV UG entrance for that matter if you want to be a mail which you will be able to fill up after a given your class 10 and 12 board examination scoring a minimum aggregate of 50% in physics chemistry and biology for Neet and 60% image for AIIMS which will make you eligible for appearing for the examinations, after which you will need to pass the different semisters and university exams of your MBBS curriculum to get the degree
Following this you will need to appear for the Neet PG examination at the AIIMS PG entrance examination and crack it, to pursue MS in general surgery which is a 3 year course and after completing it with the requisite thesis and giving the examination which you will have to clear at the end of the three years you will be eligible to set for the Neet SS examination to super specialise in CTVS to pursue cardiovascular surgery.
Mercedes me one thing clear in your mind that you will only be able to perform vascular plastic operations and mainly coronary artery bypass grafting along with a few rules in amputation surgery is mainly as a cardiovascular surgeon in today's world and their important well known procedures like angioplasty, standing, angiography pacemaker replacement are all done by DM cardio medicine Doctors versus super specialised after post graduating in MD general medicine
so kindly jhajjar attitudes and be clear about what your evening at before you take a decision
would be glad to help you with further situations when you have passed your class 10 board examinations which will help you with intensive preparations and for now you can just follow NCERT based books like women in biology, op Agarwal and chemistry and SL Arora and physics to strengthen your concepts
also getting admission into an institution like Aakash or Allen which will give me a properly sincere all years is another viable alternative which you have unless you prefer self study in the form of making notes and solving MCQ papers on a time bound basis
All the best..hope it helps
