Can i be a cosmetic surgeon after BDS? If yes then what to do next after completion of BDS.

manisha.gupta 18th Sep, 2018

In order to become a cosmetic surgeon, you need to have MCI recognized MCh or DNB Plastic Surgery post doctoral Master Degree. Which requires post graduate Master Degree in MS General Surgery which in turn can be pursued only if you are a MBBS graduate.

But after BDS you can do Facial Aesthetic Course. Facial Aesthetics are used to soften the facial expression lines and define facial contours.

Good Luck!
