Is hamdard institute of medical sciences good for general surgery?

Astha Jain 11th Jun, 2022

It is one of the best colleges in Delhi.Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (HIMSR) in New Delhi is aimed at offering quality healthcare at an affordable cost supported by 470-bed Hakeem Abdul Hameed Centenary Hospital. The institute was established in 1962 and is affiliated to Jamia Hamdard. HIMSR Delhi, over a period between 1962 and 1989, merged with Jamia Hamdard which later granted the status of a ‘Deemed University by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

The college has been ranked 25 by the NIRF for the year 2021, so this attracts a lot of emerging hospitals to our college to get young doctors appointed as their new employees.

Infrastructure: The labs were equipped with all the instruments and tools required for the course and teachers are also very much interested in bringing out the best of a student. All the labs and the lecture theatres are fully air-conditioned and recently the lecture theatres have been upgraded.

Placements: Internal internships are available to final-year students for their mandatory posting period, allowing them to work in all departments and gain a broad understanding of everything rather than being limited to just one or a few. They are paid a stipend of roughly INR 20,000 each month. The highest salary package offered was around 20, LPA for an MBBS graduate.

To conclude it an excellent college.

how to do ms general surgery in uk after completing mbbs in India?

Karishma Sawhney 5th May, 2022

Hello aspirant

With the PLAB exam, applicants can pursue a postgraduate degree in the United Kingdom after completing their MBBS in India. It's a requirement for GMC registration, which is required in the UK medical system. It's a certification exam that determines your eligibility for registration with the General Medical Council (GMC). It does not award a degree. It solely registers GMC applicants. The PLAB is conducted in 2 parts- PLAB 1 and PLAB 2.

Kindly note that IELTS exam is compulsory with a minimum score of 7.5.

Hope it helps!

A candidate is deemed to be fit if minimum twelve week have elapsed after laparoscopic appendicectomy. It means that you will not be rejected due to the appendicectomy if the surgery was performed twelve weeks back from the date of medical examination. It is less than twelve weeks then you will be considered as unfit. You can find the medical standards using the link below

do cardiologists get a salary or a fixed fee for each procedure

Anushri Varshney 4th Mar, 2022

Hi ishaan,

The salary varies with the reputation and city in which the hospital is present. Taking about the slasry of cardiologist, it depends upon the popularity and the status of the hospital. Many surgeons charge a high fees for the surgery and treatment while others donot. It depends upon them.

So, in simple words the salary is not at all fixed, it varies from person to person. Many hospitals have their fees structure for every procedure.  Surely the fees varies as per the status of the hospital.

Government hospitals have lower fees for the procedure while private have the highest . It directly makes a hole in the pocket of the pateints.

I hope you understand my point.

Thank you and good luck:)
