There are no specific books for SLAT preparation. All types of law exams have a similar syllabus.
You need to majorly prepare for the following sections:
1. General Knowledge - Start with reading newspapers, and current affairs
2. Legal Reasoning- Look at previous year papers for an idea about topics like Law of Torts and Law of Contracts, many videos are available on YouTube.
3. Reading Comprehension - Start reading the editorial section of newspapers like The Hindu and The Indian Express
4. Logical Reasoning- The major questions are inference based questions, or reasonings like blood relations and directions.
5. Quantitative Aptitude- Only topics till class 10th come in the exam like percentages, averages etc.

So, with regard of you're query. Yes, after receiving a BA from YMCOU, you are qualified to sit for the NET SET exam. You must have at least a 55 percent master's degree completion rate (for General candidates, this must be at least 55 percent; for OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates, this must be at least 50 percent) and be at least the minimum age requirement, which is 28 years for General candidates and 33 years for OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates. then you can attempt NET examination.

Please do not worry about this mistake. The invigilator and the examiner will understand that there is a mistake in the Paper code and it will not create any issue, nor will your answer sheet will be rejected. So, please do not worry about it. It is a common mistake, to input sometimes the wrong paper code from students, and the examiner understands it as well. So, do not panic as it is totally fine and it will be corrected and your paper will not be rejected.
